I was curious about the classic poutine but when I saw the Mexican poutine on the menu, I knew I had to try it. It was so incredibly delicious! It was classic poutine but with beans, corn and other vegetables with guacamole and sour cream on the side. The atmosphere was very cool with music videos projected on a wall. Our waiter was a sweetheart. All four of us absolutely loved our meals that night. What an awesome way to start our weekend getaway in Quebec!!

We tried the India which was a butter chicken sauce with chicken and mushrooms. It was a fun dish with good flavor gravy. Odd choice to me to put mushrooms in it since I've never had butter chicken with mushrooms. The Chicken was thin sliced, I was expecting more like chunks. Regardless this was a solid 4 in my book. We also tried the Hat Trick which is basically a three meat poutine with bacon, ground beef and hot dogs. This was also solid, not as unique, but good. Probably a 3.75. we ordered the mega sized for both, which made the 2 dishes enough food for 3-4 people depending how hungry you are. We wanted the leftovers. The down side to this experience was the service. The place was nearly empty. The server passed us with a pitcher of water in have and didn't even fill the glasses. When we ordered a diet Pepsi instead of getting a fountain drink we got it in a can (both options were in the menu, fountain was cheaper), why not ask us if not sure what we want? At the end we waited a while to see the server and instead just ended up asking the hostess for our to-go containers. Nothing horrible, just meh. The takeaway, pretty good poutine with not so hot service.

I had the BEST vegetarian burger I have ever had. It was smoky from griddling the party and the bun. My mom had the fish and chips and the batter was perfect, not too thick and very crispy. They have beer flights and the service was also very friendly. We don't speak French and we're greeted kindly.

Compare to other breweries on the street, this is more for people enjoying the drink and relax. Service-wise, all the drinks are written on the blackboard. We did have some language barrier to understand how menu worked. We asked for recommendation based on what we like but the server could not do any recommendations which was pity. We finally decided on the first 2 groups of flights on the menu. Also they decided to close the shop early (1am on Google) because of lack of customers and last drink order was 11pm which didn't give me enough time to order the second round. (Oh well~) The drinks were good and special. The taste was clean and refreshing. We enjoyed all the drinks we ordered. We would love to order more but they are closing. Price was very good compare to Ontario. Love to visit again.

TERRIBLE SERVICE BY RESTAURANT MANAGER…read more My wife and I stopped by for dinner with our toddler. It seemed like an ok for a kid since it was still early in the evening. The staff were very nice as they found us a table and took our drink order. A few minutes in, we realized our kid was going to be fussy. Not wanting to bother the table next to us, we asked if we could move to an area with more space. The staff were happy to accommodate and moved us and our drinks to another part of the restaurant. But my kid still wasn't able to calm down so I decided to take him out of the restaurant and left my wife at the table. After calming him down outside the restaurant, I called my wife and we decided to take our food to go instead. But since we were sat down at the new table, no one came to actually take our order. Since we weren't being served, and I actually didn't even try a sip of the beer I ordered, and since my wife only ordered a can of soda, we felt like it would be ok to just leave. Again, we barely ordered anything and I didnt even try the beer I ordered because I had to take my kid outside. As we are getting my kid back into the stroller in front of the restaurant, the waitress comes out and says her boss is making her ask why we didn't pay for our drinks. I explained that it wasn't working out with our kid, we didn't want to bother the other guest during their dinner, and we didn't actually touch what we ordered, so we thought it would be ok to just leave. Clearly we weren't trying to skip out on the bill and there were reasonable circumstances for us to leave. She goes back in to clear it with her manager who then asks us to come back in and pay for the drinks we didn't enjoy. Although I understand we ordered the drinks, and they couldn't put the beer back in the keg, it seems like any friendly restaurant would have just waived off the $13 since we weren't being served clearly struggling with our kid. It also seems like we did the polite thing by leaving and not letting our kid bother people. And we would have instead ordered a full meal to go but they weren't even serving us anyway. To me this shows the restaurant management has no idea about customer service. I hope they enjoy the $13 I paid for nothing. Hopefully that goes to the staff who were at least friendly.

While strolling in Grand Alle, we decided to have lunch here. The setup looked like fine dining,…read morebut little did I know it was a chain restaurant. St. Hubert is a huge part of Quebec's contemporary lifestyle. It all started with one restaurant on St. Hubert Street in Montreal back in 1951, and now there are 117 locations. Chain restaurant dining reflects Quebec culture very well. The portions are larger, the restaurants are nicely decorated, and the service is friendly. Many locations have a separate bar and lounge. from nowhere, it looks like a food chain restaurant. Coming to food, we ordered 1/2 Piri Chicken with rice & coleslaw. - Canada is like the hub of rotisserie chicken and the first time, I saw it came in piri piri flavor, nice!! It comes with rice and 2 types of sauces. The chicken was well-cooked and sauteed in the sauce. The food was good. it comes with unlimited coleslaw (creamy and original) Ambiance: super clean, well maintained, and good service. They need to open in the USA too.

The server was very attentive and the restaurant was not busy at hall. I had a view straight into the kitchen where the dishwasher is. The chicken was dry and the vegetables bland and overcooked. The so called bun that came with the dinner was like the bottom of a tasteless dry hamburger bun. I was expecting a dinner roll. The caesar salad lettuce was cut into way too small leaves and the parmesan cheese tasted old/dry. The ice tea was a lot of ice in a small glass. Tasted like a powder mix. The food was below average and it was like going to Denny's to eat. I would not eat here or any other St Hubert restaurant.
