Be very cautious when renting, especially if your a small business owner. If your store goes under they will take you for everything you have and more. Comes off as wanting to support small business and promoting the area, but ONLY in it for the money. I think the owner banks on stores failing in hope to sue small business owners who are just trying to open up a business to make the community better. They video tape the initial walk through when everything works, but shortly after and I mean days of moving in, light bulbs don't work, door knobs falling off, paint peels, water comes through walls. Then when you call to get it fixed, it doesn't get fixed right away and it's like you are bothering them. There own staff complains about managment and being cheap, and you see the lead man sitting on his phone in the van in the back of buildings hiding, then actually fixing things. It's like they set it up so everything works just to get through the walk through and then it falls apart. When you move out, you better have everything fixed and all light bulbs working or they charge you extreme amounts to repair "normal" wear and tear. When we closed, we donated almost 80% of our stores product to the local resource center and local foster patents because even though we could not make it, we wanted to give back again to the community. Well after being sued by this company, we should have been greedy like them and sold everything and kept the money and not cared. I understand this is business, but this is a small business, family run (not a chain), in a small town that was run down to start with, and we tried everything to make it work and gave back to this community constantly, and just got screwed in the end. Whether it's a business or renting their apartments, please look else where, because they are not worth the money nor the headache of dealing with this company!!!! read more
