Fitting clerk said Dr. Siegel did not like progressive glasses and didn't wear them! How is it he is listed by Varilux as a local area recommended Varilux optometrist? How can he possibly relate to or appreciate problems a patient might be having with their ordered Varilux lenses?! My unfortunate encounter with Dr. Siegel's practice was a very costly and unpleasant experience that won't be repeated. Office was closed twice during normal work week for religious holidays with only notice of closure taped on office front door, - no announcement on office phone-answering message. Thanks to Dr. Siegel and his opinionated office help, I will never again consider Varilux progressive lenses. Have since gone to Shamir Autograph III progressive lenses provided by a FAVORABLY REVIEWED competent eyewear vendor where THIS occasion I finally received the professional eye exam and precise measurement and fitting required of latest technology advanced digital progressive lenses. Very satisfied with the Shamir's and the customer-friendly, trouble-free visual experience! Understanding now why I couldn't find any supportive internet reviews for the Siegel organization but took my chances anyway only because of the Varilux (Essilor) website referral. It turned out to be a huge mistake and I paid the price.
