    Little to no training. Don't care about hours you are out. Mess up on payroll. Would not recommend working here.

    This is a new facility on the corner of Highway 20 and Hudson Road. They have many different…read morestorage options and moving rentals available. We were able to rent our unit online. On a weekend even. We were given our own unique gate code to enter and exit the storage site gates. The entire place is fenced and monitored with surveillance. I have never rented a storage unit before anywhere. This is my first time as we are moving and will have 6 weeks in between selling our old house and moving into the new one. We rented a 10x30 unit. It has a garage door on each side of the unit for easy access. The unit was clean and ready to go. They offer various sized units on the property. As well as Camper and boat storage and movable containers that they will pick up and deliver to your location. They also do UHaul rentals from this location as well as sell packing and moving supplies. I would recommend this facility to anyone needed temporary or long term storage.

    This is now a Red Dot Storage facility. Here is my experience:…read more1. Paid and got the gate code from the kiosk. Went to put it in, and did not work. Texted the number on the gate for help, said my number was not registered. However, I had a confirmation email that said I had a unit. Gave up and left. 2. Came back the next day and my gate code now worked. Guess it needed some time to cycle in the system. Went to put items in, but it was closed by a wire item that I could not open with my bare hands (I am a 40 year old man in perfect health). Had to burn 40 minutes roundtrip driving home and getting wire snips. 3. Finally got into my unit! Put my items in, but getting the door closed was so hard I had to step on the handle and jiggle the slide to get it to work. Much, much harder than it should have been. My wife could barely do it (age 37). 4. Came back two days later after it had snowed. The contractor who plowed pushed two feet of snow toward the door to all the units. Snow in my shoes and some had gotten under the door, now making it nearly impossible to close. 5. After about 2 months, I retrieve my items...rented the unit to declutter my house during sale and then moving. Found out that everything is online for RedDot...except for cancelling. They pointlessly make you call and talk to a customer service representative who confirms your information and then cancels the unit for you. When I moved out it was 7:30 in the evening, so I had missed their hours and called in the next morning. This feels like a cash grab by making cancellation harder. 6. I didn't use their locks (dispensed on-site but have to be returned?), but I can only imagine what new inconvenience it would have to my life. 7. In summary, two months ago I didn't think that storage units needed to have people attending them but I guess I was wrong.
