Wow do I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I just discovered it and the round 3 topping special for $38.99 is a great deal, the toppings are ample here and unlike some other places where they give you tiny dices of toppings, this place gives you solid pieces, quality ingredients and they just elevate the quality here. I've been not wanting to cook cuz life has been a real beast lately and have had 6 deliveries and they were all great. The Michigan salad with ranch and raspberry dressing is fantastic too. It's mixed baby field greens with loads of goat cheese red onion (I recommend getting it on the side or lite cuz it can be too much on the large) fresh dried cherries and huge walnuts, it's become my favorite salad and a large will easily feed 4 or one very hungry person. The service is good as well, I had an issue with rewards and they fixed my account so I was able to redeem my rewards and when I had an issue with an order they sent out a replacement within a reasonable amount of time and fixed the mistake the same night. Stay clear of this this one. I witnessed the cook not wearing gloves and touching everything around him. Then he actually went into his pocket and got on his phone. We take our phones with us everywhere the gym, work, lay them down when we charge them wherever, they fall on the ground, in the car and let other people use them and never think to wipe them off. Now just think of all that in your pizza! I mentioned it to the manager and her response was that "we then put it wouldn't a 500 degree oven. I guess that fixes everything and she did not tell him to wash his hands and he went right back to making pizzas. So please stay clear! I had a really good coupon ($10.99 for a large 1 topping pizza and breadsticks) and I was excited to use it. I placed a pick up order as I was on the way home. The kid who took my order on the phone seemed rather bored. I mentioned the coupon when I placed the order, but the total he gave me was without it. He said, "Oh, uh, the coupon. Um, it will come out to less". My order was ready when I got there. I think the same unenthusiastic kid waited on me. No matter, it smelled good. I warmed it up a little when I got home. The breadsticks were very puffy and doughy. They were cooked, but they seemed rather heavy-tasting. The pizza was good sized, but it was too spicy and/or too salty or...something. We ordered a large deep dish pizza with 8 boneless wings that they had as a special and after taxes/fees/decent tip it came out to far lower than I expected. Was told delivery will be 45 minutes and the driver came around the hour mark. No biggie. But I can't rate something more than 4 stars for pizza that is most certainly NOT deep dish. This Benito's makes really great breadsticks - fluffy with the right amount of butter, garlic, and cheese. They pair perfectly with the cream cheese garlic dip. Pizza is best with a flavored crust. Sometimes the amount and sauce and cheese on the deep dish can be inconsistent - almost too saucy and cheesy at times. Others may enjoy that, but it can be too much for me personally. We love the cherry walnut chicken salads and I like to order them for my office staff. We ordered 2 larges and added chicken and it was $44. This is to eat as an entree salad, they don't eat pizza. The salads came in a container that is for one person, as if you went to a restaurant and got a carry out box for your meal. So I called the manager and he was rude, he said a large feeds 2-3 people and that is the size they come in, then made me pay for half of delivery to send another salad plus the cost of the additional salad. So I paid $65 plus 1.5 delivery charges for salad that can feed 3 people--- when we have 6 staffers....then I asked how much his half sheet or full sheet salads were and he said let me look, then came back and said he would have to price it out. We looked online and the price of a half sheet says $44 and feeds 11-15 and full sheet is double and feeds 25-30. So basically he knew he was charging too much because a half sheet would be the same as 2 salads. He ripped us off! I'll order from Jets next time or Happy's! What a joke Benito's is. Have been going to Benito's for a while now. It's one of those hit or miss type of place. At most times the pizza is unbelievably great. Fresh Vegetables, multiple different options for crust type, and deep dish options. Benito's can be slightly on the expensive side but honestly it's worth it, well so I thought. At other times && I am only speaking for myself, no matter what type of pizza I get, it comes over cooked, burnt, not as enjoyable as the previous times. Today, I order the same usual pizza, && of course it comes burnt, vegetables over cooked, crust extremely hard, over all a burnt taste, && I'm honestly not a fan of that specific taste. I called to make them aware as well as give a complaint , because again, this pizza costed me $30, I want it right for the next time. The customer service was so poor, it's unbelievable. I mean, basically saying "Fuck You", deal with it, that's how it comes. Just overall rude! This is not my first encounter with them being on the rude side , however it's not always. A small pizza place can't sell pizzas as cheaply as bigger chains, so if you want a five dollar pizza you'll have to go elsewhere. However, if you want crispy, greasy, tangy, cheesy slices of heaven then head to Benito's. I ordered a small deep dish with goat cheese, tomato, and portobello mushrooms, and I could've mainlined the entire thing but obviously that wouldn't work so instead I ate half of it and guarded the rest from my family like Smaug until I could eat the rest the next day. My husband wanted to order pizza that we haven't tried before one night. We ordered from Benito's and now order only Benito's. The pizza tastes homemade and has so much flavor. The pizza was delivered hot and fast, which is always a plus. We like extra sauce on our pizza and forgot to ask for it, but it was perfectly sauced. While they have a decently average pie, their customer service is flat out terrible. As a restaurant owner who stands by my product and especially our service, it pains me to know that places like Benito's will go through great lengths to screw their customers when an opportunity presents itself. It's to bad as it was nice to have another option in an area with few DESCENT and no real good pizza delivery options. Order if you must but be sure to check you receipt and your order BEFORE you pay for it and DONT pay if it's not what you ordered or if it's not to your satisfaction. They will make a promise to "make it up to you" but they won't and will argue with you. This place must be barely hanging on to screw a customer that orders delivery no less then once a week and sometimes as much as 3 times, out of a few bucks. It's not the $, it's the principles... Principles Benito's doesn't seem to have. If you diliver the wrong food and promise that your actual and regula order (which was a pepperoni pizza with mushrooms on half) would be free or "comped" then suck it up and one the promise and do it. Instead we were offered a $3 discount on the $15 pizza. Not the $15 comp for the $15 f-up that we had to through away. Out of principle you have lost a huge customer with large circle of influence over a few bucks. I promise to open a pizza joint neer by that will smoke out this "worst practices" biz and restore the basic buisiness ethics and principles to the area along with a better then average pizza. All in a company that will stand by there work. Until then. Order Jets, Tomatoes, Bronx Deli go to Little Caesers or any other pizza joint other then this place or Dominos (yuck) read more

Since Benito's is a small local joint I feel bad by rating them 2 stars but I'd be lying to my fellow yelpers if I gave them more based on my experience. The good news is that I'll still give them another shot at some point because I only had their pizza by the slice and haven't yet tried their "gourmet" pizzas. My plan on this day was actually to stop by Costco for a cheap lunch and get a couple slices of pizza from their food court. If you've eaten Costco pizza before then you know that it's not great but not bad either. However, I remembered that Benito's, which is just around the corner from where I live, has a sign out front advertising pizza by the slice Monday through Saturday 11 AM-3 PM and 8 PM-10 PM. So with the baseline of my expectation level being Costco pizza, I figured that I was walking into Benito's as an easy to please guy. Unfortunately, I wasn't pleased. Upon walking in I was expecting to see some pizza that was ready to go but they keep the premade pizzas back behind the counter somewhere out ot sight. I asked what toppings do they have for by-the-slice and the girl at the counter lets me know they have pepperoni and cheese. Pretty much what I expected so I order 2 slices. She then goes behind the counter and grabs 2 slices of the squared deep dish pizza and puts it in the oven for warming. I guess I was surprised that it was deep dish pizza rather than regular round but I was ok with it. After a couple minutes I'm out of there with my 2 slices in a small box and a bottle of diet pepsi (they don't have fountain drinks). My first disappointment was the 3 measly slices of pepperoni they put on each slice of pizza. If you see the picture that I posted, this isn't a case where I just happened to get a slice from a part of the pizza where toppings were scarce by chance. You can tell that they deliberately place 3 slices of pepperoni per slice of pizza. With this being thick deep dish slices of pizza I was disappointed but it's only .99 a slice so I was accepting of it. The pepperoni and cheese were average tasting and I kind of enjoyed the sauce. It had a sweet flavor and a nice texture. The problem here was the crust which was thick and doughy on the inside... maybe even a tiny bit undercooked? I'm not sure but what I do know is that halfway through the first slice I was tired of chewing through all that dough. If the toppings were more plentiful then maybe I could have overlooked the doughy center but I couldn't. Flat out, I didn't enjoy this pizza. I ended up just scraping the toppings off the second slice and just eating it with the other half of the first and tossing the crust out. Again, the barometer here for me was Costco pizza and Benito's fell well short. This place is pretty close to where I live so I'll probably give them another shot, but I'm staying away from the pizza by the slice. If their whole pizzas are better, I'll update my review. read more

What a mess. I ordered, the system said it'd be an hour. Instead, it was 20 minutes. You'd think that would be good, but it wasn't. They obviously slid them directly from the oven, cut them, and then slid them in a box... only to have the cheese slide nearly entirely off the pizza. I just scraped it out of the box and have to put it in the oven to get the thing together. This was my first time ordering. It was priced higher than most other places - I could have gotten two perfect large pizzas from Crispelli's for the price of two mediums here - and it's a mess.
