Thanks to my girlfriend I have spent a large portion of time waiting around in places such as this and the Powder Room is one of the nicer places I have stared at the walls in. The staff are friendly and well presented and this place appears to have a touch of class about, rather than being a quick botch job to make people look like clowns these people take time and care over what they do. I would compare the Powder Room to a makeup section of a film set rather than a low rent beauty salon of which there are plenty in Liverpool. To sum up the Powder Room has a touch of class about it.

A lovely bright clean and tidy salon. Friendly and professional approach to booking an appointment for a leg wax. I went back an hour later and first impressions were bolstered.the treatment room was smart and spotlessly clean. The beautician was friendly and professional. The prices, while reasonable, are not the cheapest and the service can be a little unprofessional; the last time I went I was left bleeding, and the time before that I was misled to think that a combined package of treatments was a much lower price than I ended up paying. I have since tried other local salons which offer an equally extensive range of treatments, slightly cheaper and well executed. Treatment Rooms is quite large, the main salon is very clean and most of the staff I have encountered are very friendly. It is a unisex salon which is, I believe, unique for the area (although I don't think I've ever seen a man in here who wasn't waiting for his freshly waxed woman) It's also open "8 days" and late most nights which is a great advantage. Don't discount this salon as it is good, just not, in my experience, the best.

They are happy to help and advise and have a good chat with you. I've only ever been to the beauty room at the back of the salon, but I've always had a good vibe from the hair salon itself. The beauty room is small but immaculate. They offer a wide range of services at affordable prices. The beauty therapist takes her time and shows attention to detail. You never feel rushed or as if you are an inconvenience to the therapist, as I have experience before elsewhere. Overall the House of Poland is cheap and extremely cheerful.
