I had dark spots, blemishes, and mild cystic acne that I've had since starting puberty. Accutane was my last resort, so I tried her before needing to get on the medication from my dermatologist. Now 1 year later, my skin is so clear and never thought I would come to this point. I've tried so many topicals, medications from previous doctors, and I was very skeptical at first to continue with her. But I visit Goska consecutively every 2 weeks and I use her products. She's educated me so much from at-home masks, shampoos, conditioners, vitamins, essential oils, and even little, simple day-to-day things I had to change in my life made a HUGE difference on my skin. It's a saving grace that Ulta provides regular coupons, bogo sales and clearance sections. Cosmetics are as expensive as clothing these days. The Ulta brand products are great dupes if one is truly on a budget. The app is very helpful for creating shopping lists ahead of time in order not to spend like crazy going in store without clear direction. I particularly love this location and the helpful staff. They've been great for years. Most of the products are always fully stocked. I also frequent various stores within this strip mall, so I usually make a half day of shopping.

I received a salon color service that did not resemble the multiple reference photos I showed during my consultation. I expressed my dissatisfaction immediately after the service. Marissa never asked to see the reference photos I had shown my stylist or ask me any questions. Instead, she immediately placed the blame on me, told me I should have stopped the stylist during the service, and told me that I "lacked accountability." I was a liar, I should've explain better and so much more!! I found that incredibly inappropriate and dismissive, especially considering I had specifically asked before the service whether my desired color could be achieved and was assured that it could. The conversation unfortunately became heated and we had a full blown shout match in the ulta salon area. I came to management looking for a reasonable resolution not an argument. What was especially upsetting was feeling judged she said things like, "What do you want? You want it to be free? Is that what you're getting at?" I had not gone in demanding a free hairstyle. In fact, another manager had already discussed a possible resolution with me before it was later withdrawn. I literally been having a rough time I just wanted to make myself feel better by coloring my hair. I have compassion for my stylist, it was never a right or wrong thing for me I just wanted correction, fairness and ultimately RESPECT. My issue with this review is specifically how management handled a dissatisfied customer. A GM should be able to hear both sides, look at what the customer actually requested, and attempt to de-escalate the situation before assigning blame. I left feeling more upset by the way I was spoken to than I was about my hair. Today was literally a horrible day and I have felt okay since leaving ulta. I have contacted Ulta Guest Services so the situation can be reviewed.

I agree that it's not as painful as waxing but there still is some pain (with beauty usually comes pain :-) but she distracted me through the most painful parts. The facility itself if very clean and hygienic and the pink, modern ambience screams sweet and chic. I also love that the products are all natural. I've experienced less irritation than with waxing and it does seem to take longer to grow back. I'm definitely a fan!
