I went into see Sara and had the best salon experience I've ever had. She took me on a journey with my hair from root to tip. Sara took the time to get to know my routine, styling, care and pain points, and then set off to help me figure out the best path for my hair. I have never had anyone take the time to teach me how to style in a way that works best for my particular root and curl type. I learned so much and really felt "seen" and "heard" and guided. I will always return here for Sara's help. She offered for me to call or text her if I had any questions about styling or products. She really cares. It's about more than a haircut, it's about feeling comfortable and confident in your own skin and embracing your natural look and learning how to work with yourself and not against yourself. The Emerald Salon itself is stunning and feels so clean and calm, while also being upscale and elegant. It is a really beautiful place. After trying one other place downtown and receiving a bad cut (ARGH!), I followed up with Cristina at Bella's a couple of days later to see if she could fix the bad cut. I found my stylist! Put her great, genuine and warm personality aside. - She took the time to listen to what I was wanting. - She made suggestions. - She is knowledgeable, up-to-date on the latest cuts. - She is METICULOUS - yes...she is a perfectionist and took extra time to make sure my cut met her expectations. - Her shop is spotless - very clean. I can honestly say I am more impressed with her that I was my regular stylist back home. So, if you are looking for a great place for a great cut, I highly recommend giving Cristina a try.

Simply put, BEST hair cut I've ever received-period. little bit of a scheduling snafu though; when you say DAY SPA, expect to spend all day. I had colour and cut. She was horrified about the way my colour turned out, but she didn't need to be, it just needed to be washed and worn a day or two - because within that time, it "developed" and turned fabulous. Seems that Robin is now joining forces with her and that will be a VERY NICE addition. The two are sure to present a world class salon in little ol' Helena. 'bout time!
