Shoulders are the absolute worst to rehab so when my dr wanted to go with a different PT I said no way I want this one. In the first session I was charged for a set of xrays. When reviewing my x-rays, the chiropractor told me I had degenerative joint disease, osteoporosis & scoliosis. After leaving his office, I had a x-rays done with an orthopedic doctor who said my spine & joints were in perfect health. He straight up lied in order to get me to pay for more adjustments which seems highly unethical. The chiropractor himself was heavily trying to scam me. He was so focused on his sales with every session we had. After my second session, he was trying to pressure me into committing to a financially binding contract of $5,000 in order to 'fix' the spinal disorders that I do not have. Something felt really off that he kept pressing that I needed to spend such a large amount so suddenly. I was hesitant & did not agree to the contract. I am a college aged girl who does not have $5000 to throw away. He then tried to guilt me into the $5,000 by telling me that I must not care about my health at all if I was not willing to sign the contract. He then sent in his front desk workers and other staff to try to talk me into the contract and negotiate payments with me. The entire situation was extremely uncomfortable & felt like coercion. Another thing of note; his chiropractic certification behind his desk is from 'the school of life'. This man is a quack. DO NOT TRUST THIS FACILITY WITH YOUR SPINAL HEALTH OR YOUR MONEY.

This morning I was tired of walking around with a pain in my back and a crink in my neck so I…read moredecided to find a chiropractor here in town to take a look at my problems. Now I have been weary of chiropractors as I have been to some who think they need to adjust every bone in your body in order to correct a sore neck and others who try to hard sell you infra red treatment or hot stones massages as "necessary course of treatment". Not with Dr. Adam Heidingsfelder. Dr. Adam's office is right across the street from Port City cafe and next to Brick Oven Pizza. When I walked in I found a very modest and discreet office setting. He had me fill out paperwork and after a few minutes, he was the first doctor I have been to who took the time to review my answers with me before starting treatment. He took me back into one of his treatment rooms and spent about 20 minutes explaining to me who the spine works and what he believed was the source of my problems. Here I thought i was coming in for a wham and bam spine adjustment and ended up getting compression treatment, neck realignment and a thorough explanation of the course of treatment he would like me to follow. I have finally found a chiropractor who set a course of treatment based on my entire body and not just my neck and back. My entire visit was one where Dr. Adam would offer suggestions with everything from diet to possible remedies for my insomnia. But what impressed e the most about Dr. Adam was his genuine interest in my health and complete well being. I know he has to pay the bills, but he seemed to care more about helping me get healthy than whether I could cover the cost of treatment. I left feeling no pain and gaining back my complete range of motion in my neck!!!
