I had suffered a traumatic accident that had left my lower leg broken and my patella tendon ripped off. After having reconstructed surgery on my lower leg and knee, I was sent off to physical therapy. Before leaving for treatment, I was told I would never be able to run again (one of my favorite hobbies) On my first day, I met my therapist Tim who would be working with me for the next six months. I can not say enough positive things about Tim and his treatment strategy. I told him what my doctor said about never being able to run again... to which he ensured me it was a mindset, not a diagnosis. Over the next six months, I worked with Tim to achieve my goals. Tim was extremely friendly and made me feel at ease with my recovery. He pushed me in the ways I needed to be pushed to ensure I would make a full recovery. His personability made me feel like I had gained a friend who was also a physical therapist. His attention to detail on all the questions I had about my treatment was a plus for me. Annie, one of the other therapists on staff, took an interest in my recovery. Even though I was not a full-time patient of mine, she made me feel welcomed and cared about regarding my recovery and progress towards my goals. The woman working the front desk Becca always made me feel welcomed and ensured that I enjoyed myself while I was at my treatments and was always willing to crack a joke. Overall the staff is top-notch, and I would recommend Star on White Bridge Road to anyone who asks. Tim, Annie, and Becca as a team is the best STAR has to offer. Also, FYI if you have made it this far, Tim was right... it was a mindset. After six long months of therapy, I finished treatment by running a 5K, which I was told I couldn't do. I can not thank Tim and his staff enough for giving me my independence back!

I have been on suboxone for 2 years and decided to leave my last doctor due to him pressuring me for additional medical treatment (like endoscopy's and ultrasounds...even though they could never give me a reason why. I don't have stomach issues and my blood work was normal) Anyways, I made several phone calls to this office to inquire about services and A LOT was left out and not mentioned to me. I was told since I was currently on suboxone, I wouldn't have to pay the initiation fee and would only have to see him monthly. I ran out of my meds early (because I was stockpiling them from my last doctor because I wanted OFF suboxone and he wanted to keep me on so I was tapering myself. Made it about 6 months without seeing a dr so you can just tell by that how much I was being over prescribed and how serious I was. I dropped from 16mg to 2mg on my own) When I arrive (Which by the way I live in Murfreesboro and have severe driving anxiety so getting to his office was a nightmare for me) I went over with the front desk lady about what my counselor told me and refused to hand over the $450 to her until she promised me that the doctor would do PA's. Without a PA my script it $600 which is over half my monthly income. They assured me oh yeah, yeah, we do that. I MADE THEM PROMISE THAT TO ME BEFORE I GAVE THEM MY $. Lies. As soon as I was taken to the back, Dr Reedy deemed me in withdrawal (Yeah. I told you that) and wrote me a prescription for FIVE PILLS. FIVE PILLS FOR $450 DOLLARS. You can get it cheaper on the streets and that shows right there how messed up that is. He told me I would also have to see him IN PERSON weekly for $150 for the first month. He told me he was unable to write me a 30 day script because I would relapse. Uh...how can you say that when you have literally just met me and I've been getting 30 day scripts for 2 years? I have not relapsed since started suboxone 2 years ago. He also told me I had to get on birth control (oh yay another bill I can't afford!) which was left out to me when they were telling me the rules over the phone. I use condoms (with my 5 year fiance), to which he replied "That isn't 100% effective" I told him my boyfriend is a BC baby (which is true) and I just spent 2 years trying to figure out why my periods are irregular and so horrific and am currently paying off 2k in medical bills with still no answer and was deemed infertile. Dr. Reedy didn't care... He also had me spent 4 hours in his office. He spent at the most 25 minutes with me and then had the audacity to tell me "I SPENT SO MUCH TIME WITH YOU BE GREATFUL" not those exact words but that's where he was coming from. Anyways, I go to the pharmacy with my 5 pills to get myself out of withdrawals and they tell me the doctor won't budge on the PA. I call them & they tell me they NEVER do PA's. They lied directly to my face. I never would have been a patient if I had known that (and straight up told them that) My mom is a big wig at an insurance agency and was concerned about why he was avoiding the PA's so bad. She told me a lot of sketchy doctors do that because they don't want to get in trouble with insurance for doing messed up crap. I spent all weekend in withdrawals (Even though I told him it makes me suicidal. The last time I went through bad withdrawals over 8 years ago I tried to kill myself & was in a coma for 8 days and almost died...) Eventually I couldn't take it anymore and paid out of pocket even though my meds would have been free with insurance. The most alarming thing he did is that I am also prescribed xanax. I am aware most doctors are not okay with that in sub programs and told him I obviously needed to taper off it. He did nothing. He told me to stop taking it cold turkey WHICH COULD KILL ME. Right when he said that I knew he had no idea what he was talking about. That's the thing. I don't think he was being malicious. I think he is completely uneducated on addiction and all they have to do to become "specialists" to prescribe suboxone is to take one 8 hour ONLINE CLASS. Kind of crazy when you think about that is all that is deemed necessary to treat one of the worst & hardest addictions Stay far, far away from him if your looking for sub drs. I cannot comment on any other treatment he does but anyone who tells someone who has been on xanax daily for over 4 months to quit cold turkey is a lawsuit waiting to happen. He is going to kill someone someday or cause someone to relapse as he obviously isn't educated on these drugs. I am trying so desperately to get help off this medication and am literally being screwed from everyone directly. He was by far the worst I have ever seen. Luckily, I have a new doctor who seems to know what he is talking about. If you are considering this dr for suboxone, RUN!!! RUN FAR AWAY!

My second appointment was pleasant as well and the nurses here are wonderful along with the front staff!! These people are so kind and made me feel so comfortable but when it came to the doctor... My latest appointment was my first check up on the baby. The nurse was so sweet and polite and made me feel so safe and comfortable I politely asked if any exams were to be done if I could be please request a female doctor. She was so kind and told me that she could talk to the doctor in making that happen. When the doctor came in he came in smacking gum and annoyed with me and my partner he couldn't even make eye contact with me at all. He told me that I needed to find a different practice because all they had were male doctors and that's who would be taking care of me and then he walked out of the room. Me and my partner we're left there in the room shocked and alone.

The style of service here is your general pressure point acupuncture with small needles inserted at various spots along the body. I was looking for a more aggressive treatment to target the spots specifically. I will say that treatment I received was good. All the staff and acupuncturists were phenomenally kind and took great care of the patients. The room is set with recliners and soft music, creating a space of relaxation during treatment.
