Thank you Oliver and Jordon, I'm sorry I don't tell you how much I appreciate you both. And I also have to mention Grayson, at the front desk. She is just amazing at keeping that office and appointments running smoothly. She's the first I see, when I arrive, and the last as I walk out the door. Grayson, you are amazing! My traditional orthopedic surgeon had suggested steroid shots for my knee arthritis, which only treated the symptoms rather than addressing the root cause of the inflammation. From my first appointment with Dr. John, it was clear that he was committed to treating the underlying issue and genuinely wanted to help me get better. With his extensive experience and caring nature, he stands out among the many doctors and athletic trainers I've encountered throughout my soccer career. His staff is incredibly welcoming, making each visit to his clinic a positive experience. After just two knee injections, I've seen significant improvement and can now play sports with minimal pain and inflammation. Dr. John's integrity is exceptional; he recommends treatments based on what will genuinely help your condition, not what will benefit him financially. I am truly grateful to have found him and will continue to seek his care as long as he is practicing.

He helped me with such a weird dislocation issue I had in my knee I had been dealing with over 1.5 years, the PRP treatment was great, and very affordable... As a high intensity athlete (BJJ)... I CANNOT RECOMMEND SOMEONE MORE THAN DR. JOHN. Ps His assistant Susan is such a wonderful woman, great at making me wince like a little girl when drawing my blood haha! And I greatly enjoyed both visits I had to the clinic because of them.

I would land wrong sometimes and - OWWW!! I was thinking that maybe there was not much skiing in my future if at all, and the idea of walking a golf course seemed daunting indeed. Then I heard about Flexogenix. They examined my knees, did ultrasound and x-rays and diagnosed "moderate to severe" arthritis. They offered a treatment called Lipogems, where they extract stem cells from your love handles and inject them into the knees. I had both of them done, and while my knees felt like cement for a few days afterwards, 5 months later I was at Beaver Creek, and I hardly noticed them while skiing. As for my knees overall, the clock has been turned back by 15 years. If you have arthritis in your knees and you still have a little cartilage left, don't wait for knee replacement - go here first.

I had seen 2 'sport physicians', a PA, and 7 physical therapist, none of which were able to figure out what was wrong. I had multiple MRI's, all of which were clean, and it was as if these other healthcare providers had no clue what to do or look for. I went 1.5 years without being properly diagnosed. Finally I came to Dr Maul who simply performed a proper physical assessment and immediately found the root of the problem. Unlike everyone else I had seen previously, Dr. Maul did much more than try to cover up the pain. He treated the underlying problem, not mask it, then he assisted me with exercises which were able to restrengthen my body and fix it long-term. Thanks Dr. Maul, I am finally able to properly train and compete again. The other thing great about Dr. Maul is he is up to date with research regarding which therapies are best suited for certain injuries. He does not do stuff just because 'that's the way it's always been done,' which is a shockingly common phrase in all health care. He will take the time to explain to you what he's doing, and why he is it doing it, and he has the science to back it up.

I've seen Dr. Watterson for everything from a torn plantar fascia to insomnia, and everything in between. Dr. Watterson is a certified acupuncturist, chiropractor, yoga instructor, and (I think) physical therapist and has helped me train for several marathons, overcome multiple injuries, and address some insomnia/anxiety issues I've had over the past year. Whether you need acupuncture, dry needling, cupping, an adjustment, pointers on your running form, or advice on nutrition and core stability give Charlotte Sports Performance and Rehab a try! Dr. Watterson is so fabulous that she treats everyone from amateurs like me to Panthers players (I can't say who, but you'll figure it out if you visit her office) and other professional athletes. In addition to being a stellar doctor, Laura (and her whole team) is a genuinely kind person who will do her best to help you train through an injury and be in top shape to achieve whatever it is you hope to achieve!

Suddenly and without warning, multiple time's a week I would get dizzy, be unable to stand, and my eyes would involuntarily move side to side with a condition called nystagmus. For years I went to multiple specialists including ENT and neurologists without any success. Then I met Laura and my luck completely changed. I had an initial assessment where she reviewed my condition. She immediately could describe the underlying causes and the treatment. I had one treatment and I couldn't believe it but I was cured. My neck muscles released, I gained mobility and my symptoms were gone. It has been years and I have never had any symptoms of dizziness. I have continued to get treatments for other conditions/injuries I have sustained since I met her. I even signed up for online yoga with her. I was very challenging and she was able to describe the postures and make small adjustments to my practice. She is an amazing doctor. For anyone with any dizziness or whiplash injuries I would highly recommend her. I'm glad I met Laura. And you will be too!
