Travis was excellent to work with! · His exercise regimen was extremely effective. I continue to use it on a daily basis just because it makes my back feel so good after sitting in an office chair all day, even though my back pain has largely subsided by this point. · At the end of each session he always leaves ample time free to ask any questions · For times when the back pain was especially bad, he was able to do dry needling. The man knows how to work a needle! It always made a very big difference in reducing pain. · In the last session, he walked me through a very comprehensive way to think about the lifestyle of dealing with any back pain that may continue to come up: self-massage with a tennis ball, exercises for strengthening and for generally keeping active, stretches, and "the why" behind it all to ensure I had a good understanding of under what circumstances which of those items would be most effective for what I was feeling. I highly recommend Travis and Decatur Hand and Physical Therapy!

Jennifer at the front desk is always welcoming and efficient, setting the tone for a great visit. My physical therapists, Erin and Rachel, have been exceptional--they're not only knowledgeable but also incredibly caring and attentive to my needs. When I first started, I couldn't walk or stand independently, but thanks to their expertise and support, I'm now able to do both with confidence. Even when my primary physical therapist isn't available, I've received the same high-quality care from Liz, Jenna, Jeremy, and Spencer. It's clear that everyone here is committed to providing the best possible care, no matter who you see. I will continue to come back to this facility as long as I need physical therapy. The level of professionalism, care, and results I've experienced here makes Team Rehabilitation my top choice for PT. Highly recommend to anyone seeking excellent physical therapy!

I asked if he could please let me finish explaining and he said sure but just know, I won't do anything. I was dismissed. I was not listened to or taken seriously. He offered a shot and PT and anti-inflammatories which I have already done. I can't believe he's allowed to practice medicine. I asked about an MRI and he said 'if you want to waste your money sure I can order one". Completely shocked he has any repeat patients.

I had twisted both knees and heard cracks. Big pain! Couldn't walk. I had to be brought in a wheelchair. He only looked at x-rays, noted there were no breaks or arthritis, and asked me to extend my legs. I couldn't. I was sent home with pills, diagnosed with inflammation. He literally spent about four minutes with me. I asked Resurgens for another doctor. No. Five months later I was still hobbling. My PCP ordered an MRI and referred me back to Bircoll with torn cartilage, debris and a baker cyst. Again, Bircoll never examined my knee or asked me any questions. He kept me waiting almost two hours so he could look at the MRI. Then he chastised me for getting the MRI, remarking that the results didn't matter because I'm old and I just have to live with it. I don't know if he ever looked at the MRI. Judging by the way he was dodging questions, I think not. I asked how to help my knees heal better, what to do for the pain and swelling, or to help the cyst reabsorb. He flatly refused to answer anything. You go to a doctor for help. This one has done nothing - twice. There won't be a third time.
