I didn't know they were closed on Mondays and blamed myself for not being better prepared. My wife is the kindest person I know and was gracious but I think Mike could tell she was disappointed. Without pressure from us Mike said, "I'm gonna make sure they get fixed before I leave on Friday. So you can pick them up on Saturday." I just went by and got them. Darren had us ride around the parking lot and tweaked any issues we had, offered us helmets and we were off. Great service and zero complaints. Aside from that store is pretty large and seems to offer Specialized primarily along with other high quality brands, clothing, accessories, fuel, and they have a weekly shop ride. It appears they keep their website up to date as far as events and rides as well. Some shops tend to drop the ball on that.

My father and I went to 4 bike shops between Greenville and TR the last shop recommended the Marin Fourcorners and found Speedshop as a dealer. We called to see if there was my size in stock, unfortunately there wasn't. This is where Dave's customer service skills went above and beyond that of any of the other retailers. He personally called to other Marin dealers across the country to see who could drop ship the bike to SC. He kept us informed with every phone call he made. And was very willing to help with my search even though I would be a one time customer at his shop. My father rides both Mt and road bikes and due to Dave's outstanding customer service and help with this process he's making the switch to shop with speedshop in the future. The associate told me that they didn't have enough money in the register to give me a refund. I asked if she could put it back on the card it was purchased on and she couldn't because I didn't have the card, but I had the receipt. I asked if she could give me a store credit and she couldn't because I had a receipt. If I didn't have my receipt, I could have gotten a store credit. She told me to call before I come back to see if they have enough money to do a refund. Don't deserve a 1 star.
