Mary Ellen is FABULOUS to work with and she is very detail oriented! The room for our bridal party to get ready in has wonderful natural light, and stocked with beverages and food. The reception is held downstairs, one area for tables, and another for the dance floor! We had around 170 guests and we all fit comfortably. We had two bars set up, plus a separate cake table! We had our friends and family travel from in state, and out of the country, and I'm SO happy this is the venue where we celebrated along side with them! I am truly thankful for Mira Vista and the happy memories my husband and I will have forever!

My only complaint, and has been an issue for years is the pace of play. Hands down the slowest course ever. Marshal does nothing to keep the pace. At wilderness club they promised everything and delivered nothing. The 2024 highlights at…read morewilderness club include putting up a fence around a couple garbage cans, putting a sign at the driving range on the last couple spots that said "members only" and replacing a cart fleet the should of been replaced 2 years before. Said they would put in a liner on the lake in 2024, not done and don't know why. In 2025 suppose to fix the bunkers, asked when the work would start ..... response "we will have to put a pin in that". So what does that mean? Now they say they are staring on the clubhouse, but no dates or plans or artist renditions offered, so where are they in the process? 2024 included more sand on the greens than in the bunkers, replacement of all flags to white with no information to golfers on pin location until mid year, and then they didn't follow the pattern they said they were using. Fallen trees, broken branches left sitting, weeds out of control in any non mown area. Price increase that are absolutely insane (and another $1200 a year increase in fees, that is 2 years in a row for them) and they bought a peloton, now our exercise room has 4 pieces of equipment. Swimming pool exceeding capacity limits, closing the pool and park on July 4 weekend for for a few hours because one of the ownership group want the facilities. A lake that is usable for all but about 2 weeks in late August, but only if you like weeds. Dogs running around off leash, RVs parked everywhere, signs up everywhere. None of this is allowed by their bylaws. Oh and if you like to golf before 9 don't count on the range being open, staff have to get all the cards from the outdoor storage corral to the parking lot and then they are not there to give you a cart so you will have to wait for them. So this company unlocks the value in golf properties, well in 1 year they have actually done nothing, just like the previous owner they are partnered with. When they can in we were told they have the same values as the owner .... They do they do not give a crap about existing members and all that they want is to sell you a house and they will tell you anything to get you to buy one. If you plan on buying at wilderness, use the resale market, that is the only way you might get the truth.
