If you want the full on theatrics of trying to battle with a vendor for your ice cream cone, you won't get that here. Bena Dondurmalari serves ice cream to locals with no frills and amazing prices. You can straight up buy a scoop for 5 lira. It's a small store with a revolving door of customers and a very, very small counter if you want to stand and eat, but the space is really just an ice cream counter.
To be honest, I have no idea what we ordered, but it was what all the locals were ordering so we just asked for the same thing. The ice cream itself is that fun stretchy texture you're looking for and isn't too sweet.
