The displays offer everything from some already prepped meat options like marinated, skewered, rolled and/or stuffed... Plus a great selection of herbs. spices and sauces. The meat was all super in quality, great cuts across the beef, pork and poultry! Of course what makes this place 5 star is the super range, having tried 2 butchers, we got 3rd time lucky with this place as they had stock of beef brisket.. The other two places didn't even know what we were asking for this, this place... oh they knew, they do a lot of their butchering on site so whatever random piece of the animal takes your fancy, they got it! I then come home, wander through my local town Sandymount and see roght in front of me michael byrne craft butcher - I go in all the time, I've just never thought of it as noteworthy, but it is! Aside from the usual selection of meats they have something very special indeed - a fresh fish counter - surprisingly rare in the area and odd considering we are right beside the sea, anyway, the fish is always very fresh but a little expensive - actually thats probably a fair comment overall... but worth it for the odd treat or when you are feeling flush!

(?) and Robert understand meat, give great advice on cooking and encourage trying new cuts. We think so highly of them that we now live about 9k away and still return to buy meat for special occasions. It's a great place.
