My experience at this bridal shop is definitely one I won't forget. Unfortunately my experience wasn't one I would wish on any bride. There were so many frustrations and tears that came from every one of my appointments. I'm giving 4 stars because how the owner handled each situation. She gave me a solution each time... that means something to me. She understood each of my frustrations once they were explained thoroughly. I loved my custom gown but I did have to settle for a few things that weren't right. But in the end... it was still a stunning gown. As for the in house seamstress. I did not want to take any points off of the actual shop for her mistakes and unprofessional manner. But just take this advice.... go elsewhere for alterations. The dress shopping experience is wonderful. The owner and her employees are great. But please listen to the other review and do NOT use the in-house seamstress. I cried a lot and will not have the dress of my dreams because of her. She doesn't understand (language barrier) or simply chooses not to fulfill requests. I told her she had done everything wrong twice, and I was out $600. The only thing done correctly was the bow and hem. And when I took it to a new seamstress, she told me it was too close to the wedding date to do what I had originally asked the first seamstress who did the exact opposite of what I asked. Unfortunately, I'm not sure I'll have the dress I want. And I'm super sad. Do not use the seamstress!!! read more

I cannot recommend this amazing boutique enough! Mrs. Kim, the owner is such a sweet lady. She has a genuine interest in making you feel so comfortable and important. I purchased my dress June 2020, and after sitting in the closet until December, tried it on and it felt huge on me! I panicked, called Mrs. Kim and she had me come in the same day to take a look. She assured me that I wouldn't have to order another gown and Miss. Gloria got to work on it right away. Every interaction I have with this salon is fantastic. Haven't stopped by yet but probably will based on the phone conversation I just had! Was shopping around for a specific dress and although they do not carry this dress I felt like they did/would do everything they could to assist me. I'm a semi-picky bride and have been to a lot of bridal shops so far and feel like this is the best customer service I have received thus far (and I haven't even went in store yet!). You can tell that the lady who picked up the phone is really sincere and cares about her business. She really took the time to go over all my options and even make suggestions rather than just telling me they didn't carry the dress. She was incredibly humble and not pushy at all. I've never felt compelled to post a review over a phone call but I truly felt like they were exceptionally helpful. Plus, she did mention that although my dress wasn't in store that there were plenty of options she had available if I was willing to give them a shot. They are a newer bridal shop so she said they carry a lot of more recent/new styles. Will definitely recommend to anyone I can due to my personal experience and based on recommendations. I went shopping with my future sister-in-law here. It was our first and last stop. They have amazing customer service and are willing to work with the bride, exploring all options. You can tell they really care about finding the right dress for the bride. They also have beautiful dresses of different styles. I needed help with alterations on a bridesmaid dress that no longer fit and the owner Kim was quick to reassure me that it can be fixed. I made an appointment to meet Kim and the seamstress and I must say, Wow to the great atmosphere and customer service that was presented to me. The boutique has so many beautiful bridal gowns, bridesmaid gowns and even tuxedo rentals. There were also pretty jewelry, crowns and assorted sashes to choose from. You will no be disappointed! My sister and I stopped by Belvieu Bridal to get measured for bridesmaids dresses after another Bridal place didn't measure properly. Kim and Tina were SO helpful even though we had already purchased from another place. They spoke to us in detail about the dress brand, and how they would fit. If I could leave no stars I would! The owner treated me horribly and made my wedding dress shopping experience horrendous! It started with her snatching a dress out of my moms hands and then when I went to try dresses on I asked the girl helping me if she could let me dress on my own because I am self conscious and I don't even dress up in front of friends! The owner came into the dressing room without my consent and began helping me try on dresses she said "I know you don't want to dress up in front of us but honestly if that's the case this place isn't for you and you should go elsewhere". I was in shock that the owner had just walked in on me half naked! I was speechless... I felt very uncomfortable and practically violated. The owner also kept pulling dresses and kept low balling me saying "wouldn't I like this dress for $400!" When my budget was way over that...I left with no dress because I just felt uncomfortable and I just wanted to go home... please take your business elsewhere. I had more appointments at other wedding shops and at no other place was I treated the way she treated me! Luckily I was able to find my dream dress and I am so happy with going with another shop because I was given a wonderful experience! Ventura's, BHLDN and even David's Bridal were lovely! read more

Reading reviews from local and big name bridal shops had me scared out of my mind to book any appointments. I made my first bridal appointment with Belvieu Bridal based solely on their phenomenal online reviews! The fact that they were so incredibly close to my home was an added bonus! How can I put into words the atmosphere of BB? From the first phone call to walking into the building, I felt completely and utterly comfortable and welcome! I am a plus size bride and had made an assumption that every dress I tried on would be too small and I wouldn't get the real image of the dresses. NOT HERE! They have sizing for EVERYONE! I put on so many dresses that either fit perfect, we're only slightly tight and even dresses that we had to clip. I made a second appointment at another bridal shop the next day and had a terrible experience. Had I not gone to Belvieu Bridal first, I would have thought this was the industry standard in customer service for brides. When I left that second appointment I told my Mom, I will be a Belvieu bride! I booked another appointment with Belvieu to try on dresses from a Trunk Show and again, felt like I was at home with friends and family. Kim, Tina and their staff are the best of the best! Their extensive knowledge never leaves you guessing and if they do not know the exact answer, they will find out and inform you right away. The options are limitless with Belvieu!
