This is nerve damage that won't get better with time. We discussed options and while I ultimately decided not to purchase the aids right now (these things are very expensive - from every/any where), the office has remained a tremendous help. Just today I requested a copy of my test, and information about how to cancel a financial account. I got my answer back within minutes. Definitely will go back here when I decide to take the next step. Really great people - providers and front desk.

My insurance did pay some of it but they only allow $3000 per ear. Which left me paying the rest. The average cost of a pair of hearing aids is around $4-6,000. Their bill was $3490 over that. And this does not include hearing test or office visit.

After spending 4-5 days in the I.C.U., my dad was dying and we were thankful that he was…read moretransported to Hospice House for his final hours. It is a very peaceful and calming environment compared to the hospital. My dad was cared for and so was my family. We were only there for about 5-6 hours or so but we are so grateful that my dad's passing was peaceful. I'm so glad it was at Hospice House and not at the hospital. They have a wonderful kitchen with drinks and snacks with a microwave. Our private suite had its own refrigerator. The sitting room was so comfortable compared to the hospital. After 4 days of sitting on uncomfortable furniture at the hospital, it was so relaxing to finally let go. There were a couple of rooms at hospice house that were especially lovely. They have a chapel and a big room with a fireplace and a library. We had a lot of people visiting my dad so it was nice to have a place to step out and talk to others in a quiet space. Everyone who worked with us was outstanding. So warm and welcoming. I hope you never need a place like this, but if you do, Hospice House offers top notch care.
