    I am having a hard time with Southwestern Hearing Aid Centers. Had my Audibel aids 7 months. I…read morethink the aids were incorrect match, in the ear hard silicon molds, and failure to adjust and diagnose corrections. They had just switched me to foam domes in the ear but even these were the wrong size and had to be switched just yesterday. My complaints were hard discomfort, poor fit, couldn't hear at meetings, couldn't rely on the sound clarity from day to day. I don't think anyone at SW actually ever examined my aids. They just tinker with the sound a bit. I had impacted wax and a slight ear infection from the molds. I spent almost a whole day in urgent care. My feeling is that the stores are sellers of hearing aids to gullible, inexperienced elderly buyers . The head office is covered with sales awards from Audibel, dozens of them. After the sale a few adjustments, then six months you get a minor staffer for a clean and check. They say to call with any problems, but I called with a real problem on a Friday, the next day Saturday, and Monday, leaving angry messages, and no one answered or called back. On Monday I reached the assistant and she scheduled me in for Wednesday, 6 days after my problem call. The excuse for not responding was problems with voicemail. I learned that no one is in the offices weekends and the calls just bounce around. I was tired of all the problems and angry. I demanded a refund, refused of course. The customer service manager reached out to me, very soothing, asking to try some more. She offered the owner as an appointment and she fixed the faulty app that goes with the Audibels, and fitted a larger dome. I heard well yesterday afterwards. But the treatment was so hostile, I felt they hoped I would just quit, leaving them my nearly 6k. The truth is the truth. I will try to get to a fix. If we cant, there are two good consumer protection laws in effect for me. Either road, I can only wait for a resolution and leave it to good sense, good intentions, and goodwill from SW and myself. But I do want an honest review to alert others. There may be faulty prescribed aids that will be hard to make right.
