They scammed me and charged me a ridiculous amount of $400 just for cleaning and another time I had…read morean appointment, I called a few hours before to say I couldn't make it and even said I was really sorry for any inconvenience. The man on the phone asked me what I meant and that what I did "was not right" in a irritated and unfriendly manner. Honestly I felt attacked by what he said to me and before I could even finish my sentence he hung up on me. This was such a bad experience for me and I will not be visiting Dr. Gary Kaplan anymore. I suggest you find a cheaper, honest and friendly place both on and off the phone.

I first came to this Dental Clinic because it is in my neighbourhood, all the staff were extremely nice, and my dentist, Dr. Medhi, was especially kind. He explained to me that he thought I needed some fillings. So I scheduled them with the clinic, only it would be a different dentist. Sounds fine right? I go in for my filling and to fix a chipped tooth (just another small thing from a fake tooth) and even though I had to wait 30 min it was fine. Then things quickly went downhill. Dr. David was doing my dental work. He kept on pressing down on my throat while examining my teeth, making it hard to breathe and extremely uncomfortable. Not to mention his commentary while doing his work. Talking about how genius RFK and Trump are, saying sugar causes Alzheimer's, just general derogatory, uneducated comments. I was thinking how tf did this m*therf*cker graduate? Then he says something about how he was going to file down my canines. I asked what the medical reasoning was for this. He said it was just aesthetic, I said hellllll no. We get to the filling portion and he asks what I want to fill with. Never did I think there was a choice in this. He explained that silver lasts longer. I said I had no problem with that. He says oh good, well most women your age want the enamel to match with the teeth (in a very demeaning tone), it was in the back of my mouth so I didn't really care, I just though it was a slightly demeaning and misogynistic comment that coupled with the rest of his comments and actions made me even more pissed at him. Post-fix I go look at my tooth. The entirety of the top of my tooth is silver. I was pretty shocked, as I had a previous dentist not even 6 months earlier, who did see the cavity but said it was small enough to just watch and observe if I needed a filling. Pretty suspicious that he had to dig so deep and wide... OH and you thought it was done, no. I still have to fix the small chip in my fake tooth, right? He didn't do it correctly, f*cked up my bite, and I had to come back in, cause he rushed it. Very uncomfortable, bad experience. Not cause of the clinic at all and the hygienist was perfectly lovely it's just this f*cker that's the problem in my opinion. Went to look him up and I found everyone here sharing similar stories, I am so sorry to you all. Also did some legal searches, this clown was suspended in 2006 and after a complaint in 2017 he had to be monitored for a year and a half (https://www.rcdso.org/find-a-dentist/search-results/dentist?id=11753#Complaints). When I was a kid, I went to a dentist in London, ON that let me watch Disney movies on TVs that hung from the ceiling as I got my teeth cleaned. At Mint, it's the same but you can watch anything you want on Netflix. Who does that?! Mint does. I've been here a few times, both for cleanings and to have my wisdom teeth removed. Both were as good as the experiences could be, given that the very nature of the appointment is dentistry. Wisdom teeth suck. Very clean and bright inside, with complimentary water and coffee. Everyone is smiling and nice, and they have great systems online for booking, emailing, alerting, etc. Dr. Chincholi has always been very kinda and patient with any questions. My dental saviours!

We used to like this office, but the atmosphere has shifted for the worse. What used to be a $90…read morecleaning is now $120 and there is no longer a dentist's assessment included in the price. The oral hygienist seemed insensitive to my old body and made me gag several times during the last cleaning. Dana, the bubbly receptionist, has been replaced by a dour young woman with a frigid personality. My Alabama wife, who wears hearing aids, agrees with me that spoken language in the office is very difficult to hear or understand. We are sadly disappointed to have to part ways with what was once a friendly, attentive, and affordable practice. So disappointed. Not recommended for elderly patients.

When she spoke negatively about another resceptionist I called her on it and said it was highly unprofessional for her to speak that way about other staff and that I wanted to speak with the dentist regarding the matter she then unknowingly canceled the appointment I had made, I made another and she cancelled that too! A week later I recieved registered mail saying I was discharged from the office! All because I called her on how she was talking about her staff. Unacceptable!
