The bed was saggy and should be replaced. I loved the vintage, light blue 1970s bathroom porcelain and the super long counter. The water was hot and strong, and the tub drained well. The toilet ran, though; the front desk was notified. It was an okay property for a single night, but since it was at the end of Main, we'd probably not stay here again. Since the property is at the (end) of Main Street with 35 MPH speed limit it does get some truck noise. No fridge or microwave, just coffee. Grade B.

Gave her a Amex, she didn't even bother taking it as a jester just started at it & rudely said 'I won't take that' meaning that their system is master card or Visa....Which we have no problem with because we carry both for that reason but she was just NOT friendly, welcoming or pleasant. The room we received was a - 2 bedrooms 1bath - uncomfortable beds(all 3) the couch was better - no air circulation - ski slope literally across the street (cool if your a skier but we are not) not enough snow anyways - still have old school real keys - jacuzzi tub didn't work (I was so bummed) - washer & dryer (so awesome) - exercise equipment was soooo old (it did kinda work) - 1 bike, 1 treadmill & 1 elliptical - our building had the pool & hot tub (hot tub didn't work but was getting fixed the next day) Not bring your own sheets suits but tired & dinghy.

There were NO PEOPLE on the property. We waited till check in time. We waited another half hour (in a blizzard) in the parking lot. NO ONE EVER SHOWED UP. THE PROPERTY WAS APPARENTLY CLOSED FOR THE SEASON. Now they refuse to refund my money. They are still booking rooms and cabins on at least 3 booking sites. Beware! This place will scam you.

The only reason we rented a room here for 4 in our group because the ad says it sleeps 6. We reserved through Expedia which defaults to 2 and forgot to change it. We acknowledged 4 would be staying with us when checking in and she charged us extra for that as well. I recommend the Hampton Inn up the street where the rest of our group stayed. It was cheaper and sooo much nicer and free breakfast.

It's a cute house with a very nice front porch. There is parking in back but spaces are tight if the inn is full and when all the cars are big SUVS. We got there rather early as our plans that day were disrupted by the torrential rain but the hostess was there and we were able to get settled in our room right away. We had the writing room which has a shared bathroom down the hall with one other room (the least pricy room). It's is very bright with three big windows, lots of natural light. There is a small fridge which is convenient. Bed a bit soft but for one night it wasn't a big problem. The bathroom is a good size with a retro free standing tub and the shower is hot and strong. From the inn to Main Street is an easy 5-10 minute stroll. Plenty of dining options as the town is quite interesting even though it's all geared towards tourists. Hostess will give you good recommendations if needed. Breakfast was a hearty chunk of Christmas casserole - the best I've ever had chock full of tasty ingredients. Would return to this inn next time just so we can have the same breakfast again!

Our room was not ready until 5:30. As we had just flown in from Florida, I really wanted to go to the room and change out of our travel clothing, but that was not an option. Our first afternoon in Deadwood was effectively ruined as there was nowhere to leave our bags and change clothing. The hotel was recently remodeled, so our rooms were very nice, and the mattresses were comfortable. The shower was fine although the water temperature fluctuated, and it was impossible to find the exact point that wasn't either too hot or too cold. The whole hotel vibrated constantly, which made a bunch of appliances in the room rattle or even make weirder noises. I had to leave the microwave door open because closed, the rattling was too loud for the kids to sleep. Breakfasts in the breakfast room were typical Hampton and quite good (for being free). Very friendly staff. Waffle machine with two flavor options and all sorts of different toppings, breakfast sausage, fried eggs, oatmeal, biscuits and gravy, toast and cereal. Juice and coffee. On our last day, there was no breakfast offered at Hampton. We were redirected to the restaurant at the Sheraton Four Points. Of course, that place wasn't open yet. And, once we arrived, they were not expecting us, and they wanted a coupon that had not been provided by the Hampton. Thankfully, it was just a short walk back to get things sorted, and thankfully, we weren't in a rush that morning, but still. Parking is across the street. It's through the casino. You need a new scan code each time you drive through, which comes from the front desk. Because of the delay in our check in, our parking was comped, but I believe it's about $15/day. The lot is long and narrow, and if there are big pick up trucks, it feels cramped and precarious.
