I had gone into the…read moremarket to look for the Fiesta kiosk and no one was very helpful in pointing me to the Fiesta dock. Meanwhile, when I found it, Jasling was directing anyone who would ask for help or directions--whether they were on a Fiesta ship or not. That's hospitality. The boat was great, the drinks reasonable and the music was fun--and not too loud. Our tour guide was great and pointed out the star's homes and wasn't too pushy when he offered us our photo (which they took upon boarding). We bought the photo! The whole experience was great. I would just say that there should be more signage to the Fiesta ships (which are on the side of the building at the marina) so you don't have to walk through the mall.

I booked the Miami on the Water sunset boat ride by Fiesta Cruises…read more It was a really nice experience and well worth the $35 per person. We went around the mansions and islands of Biscayne Bay for about 90 minutes as the sun set. The tour guide was informative while keeping things light and fun, and the DJ added to the atmosphere by timing songs from artists like Shakira, Jennifer Lopez, and Ricky Martin as we passed their homes. There were plenty of photo opportunities, and although the boat was on the smaller side, it didn't feel crowded. The top and front were open-air, with covered seating downstairs. Approaching the lit-up Miami skyline at the end of the ride was a highlight. The boat had a bar with reasonably priced drinks ($5 beers and $10 cocktails) and snacks available for purchase. The only downside was unclear check-in instructions. The email said the booth was inside Bayside Marketplace behind Chili's on the second floor. Right across from Chili's is a storefront for a different tour operator, and downstairs there are at least ten other booths with similar names, which made it confusing. After asking around, we learned the Fiesta Cruises booth was actually outside on the dock--you have to walk through the Tasca Paella restaurant to reach it. Once we found it, check-in and boarding were smooth. Parking at the garage can also be challenging, especially on weekend evenings or during events. My tour coincided with a Miami Heat game next door, which made traffic and parking more difficult and expensive (a $57 flat event rate). The company did send a warning email recommending public transit or rideshare. Even arriving an hour early, it still took about 40 minutes to park and locate the check-in booth.

The tour was quite challenging for those who might not be extremely strong swimmers and those who might be prone to sea sickness. We did find whales, but it was difficult getting close enough to actually swim within a range that we could see them in the water. Even though we are not prone to sea sickness, many people on the boat were extremely sick. The tour did take us to a wonderful place where we were able to snorkel in fairly calm waters and see amazing seal life and swam with the rays and sharks.

He is hilarious. He explained everything so well the scenes the cast the town the history. I don't think it could have been better. We came out on 12/26 with the family to explore the Everglades, and let me tell you--it was an experience. First, you get an email with coordinates of where to meet. Pro tip: do not use Waze unless you enjoy being abandoned on the side of the freeway like a confused extra in a nature documentary. The coordinates lead you to a couple of unmarked pickup trucks and a few guys casually hanging out at the edge of the Everglades. No restrooms, no gift shops, no docks, no parking lots, no snacks. If nature calls, well... be prepared to answer it off the side of the airboat. Our boat guide was super prompt and helped us climb aboard. I was a little surprised there were no seatbelts or life jackets, but apparently when the water is only 18 inches deep. Our guide stopped every 20 minutes or so to talk about wildlife or check in with us. While the motor is running, you can't hear a thing, but they do give you earmuffs to help dampen the noise. We saw all kinds of birds and more than two dozen alligators during our 1.5‑hour expedition. The weather was a perfect 72 degrees with zero humidity, and the boat glides so smoothly it feels like you're floating on butter. Highly recommend this company and the whole experience. It's wild and absolutely worth it.
