My Ollie is a rambunctious Brussels Griffon, and was shown so much love, care and true professionalism!! Donna and Kathi are responsive, easy to work with and FUN. I recommend them to anyone looking for professional photography -- they're the best and it shows through their work, attitude and personalities. Kathi makes you feel comfortable and confident. One of the things that peaked my interest when I was shopping around for photographers was that they're familiar working with "curvy" or "plus size" gals. I had my maternity photoshoot taken at Bellies N Babies recently, at the end of 2022. I picked their lowest priced package of 15 professional photos in a studio setting for $975. This price included make-up and wardrobe. At the consultation with the owner, Donna, I presented her with a few snapshots that featured the clothing and style I wanted for these photos. Donna assured me the photos would come out similar. I was disappointed in the clothing provided to me. We spoke of particular outfits and was assured that they have them. On the day of the shoot, the outfits were not as expected some needed to be clipped in multiple places to somewhat look decent. I could have easily purchased an exact outfits from Amazon if I had known but was assured the final photos would be retouched to look beautiful. What I received were low quality images in terms of retouching and actual size of the images. My eyes are also closed in every single one of the pictures. And when I complained about my eyes being closed, I was told that this is not a wedding picture and closed eyes show bonding with my future baby. I requested very natural makeup and instead got layers of makeup that they didn't bother smoothing out in the final images, so it added some odd texture and grain which made me look older. I showed the photos to my sister who lives out of the country but has experience retouching photos. She suggested she try to fix some of the photos. When I reached out to request the original raw images of the final 15 photos, I was met with multiple insults by Donna. Some were towards my appearance and others were just excuses to try to get more money. Apparently, only then did she say that if I wanted professional images I needed to purchase the $3000 package. Donna also mentioned that as part of the contract I signed the copyright of the images belong to her. I NEVER signed any contract with her or her studio. When I requested a copy of the contract, she initially told me they don't have it and then actually emailed me a digital form that was prompting me to sign the contract for the very first time. The same happened to the receipt. I signed an invoice on the day of the shoot and when I asked if this is my copy, I was told that the copy will be emailed to me. I never received it. When I requested a copy, she sent me a computer generated invoice that failed to include previous deposits I made and my signature and could have easily been drafted then and backdated. I am very disappointed. All I wanted is a memory of my first pregnancy. At this emotional and amazing time, I was verbally abused, lost $1000 and don't have a memory I am happy with. Taking our maternity pictures with Donna and Kathy was the best decision we ever made! We found bellies and babies on Instagram and decided to check it out. From the first phone call my wife had with Donna, she was hooked. Then we had a consultation at the studio and my wife was head over heels with everything offered and Donna's professionalism. She showed us around the studio, the dressing room and the process of makeup and hair the day of the shoot. I booked it in December and today we had the actual photo shoot. The experience was amazing. My wife definitely got the sexy maternity pictures she wanted. She looked amazing! She felt comfortable throughout the entire process and the personal attention was impecable. She said to me "I feel like a Kardashian !" I would recommended them without hesitation. If I could give them zero stars, I would. My daughter was entered in a contest to win a free photo shoot. When we entered her I was told they would make a decision on March 31, meaning the contest would end March 30th. On Sunday March 30th they also posted on their Facebook page that it was the last day to vote. I stayed up until midnight March 30th watching the page and was so excited to see that my daughter had won. The next morning I messaged them asking them when were they going to announce the winner because I was anxious and was told "It was a misunderstanding, I thought that today we'd announce the winner but today's the last day. I won't be in the studio until tomorrow which is when the winner will be announced. Just another day to vote". Misunderstanding?? I didn't misunderstand anything!!! You made a mistake twice and didn't even own up to it. I had already deleted all the messages that I sent to my Facebook friends about voting, so I didn't know who hadn't received the messages and didn't want to send it out to people that had already voted and make them feel like I was harrassing them. I was so disappointed on Monday and now...I'm angry. VERY BAD FOR BUSINESS!!! Will NEVER refer anyone to them. STAY AWAY...UNPROFESSIONAL!! read more
