This is more of an upscale African American beauty salon. There were 2 stylists in when I visited this shop and I have only visited once so far. Very calm, relaxing, upbeat, and quaint atmosphere. I heard good things prior to visiting this shop which made me wanna visit. I called for a same day appointment and they fit me right In. I was in and out in no time. This shop does have a hospitality corner offering a flavorful variety of teas, coffee,or water. Everyone was very friendly and down to earth. When I came In I waited maybe a total of 5-10 mins. There was a Caucasian woman in the chair being serviced so this shop is not just limited to specializing in black hair care, they are adept to accommodating all hair types. I then went back to get my hair washed, and got the most amazing head massage ever. No sitting under the dryer, Tracy got me right in the chair and went right to work on blowdrying my hair. I am in the process of transitioning from chemically treated hair to natural unrelaxed hair. Tracy did an excellent job with maneuvering the hot comb to straighten my edges and also gave me an awesome blow out. The only cons of my visit were, I didn't get asked how I wanted my hair styled and also it is very pricey but very much worth it because I got a last minute appointment, a great trim, scalp massage, great hair care tips, a scalp treatment and a cute style and most importantly fast and friendly service. Oh and the owners husband brought Philly pretzels for everyone to enjoy. I would definitely go back and also recommend this place to anyone. If your on a tight budget I wouldn't recommend every two week visits but if u really need a treatment for damaged hair, this is definitely the place to go to get it back in she. She uses Euphoria products which are made of plant extracts and all natural materials. read more
