By the time I got to London, a second wheel broke. I do not pack light, so only having two remaining wheels was a nightmare. Had very limited time in London before my flight and stumbled upon this service while panic googling where to shop for luggages. With this delivery service, I was able to pick out a new suitcase via Whatsapp while having dinner. The new suitcase was delivered to the hotel while I was out. Such an amazing service, so convenient, and a life saver! The prices are great too and they will work with your budget. Can't say enough good things.

I *needed* a replacement immediately--I had a lot of stuff to transport, but I also wanted to avoid a sudden, significant expense, since I was visiting from the US. So, I took a chance with the Luggage Centre, not knowing exactly what I would get since I wasn't visiting a brick and mortar store. First impression: they were super responsive (even though I contacted them at night!), helpful, and very informative. Prices were very reasonable, too. Second impression: I was impressed that they delivered as quickly as they did and in a location that worked well for me. Third impression: the luggage was exactly as described and came with a 15 year warranty! I got a hard-shell expandable case with 8 360-degree turning wheels, and a TSA approved luggage lock. After 3 plane trips (2 within Europe, and 1 from Europe back to the States with a layover in very wintry conditions), 2 long train rides, and walks over cobblestoned streets, the bag has held very well. What I really like, too, is that is its unique coloring makes it easy to identify on the luggage carousel. I am very happy I found them--wholeheartedly recommend The Luggage Centre and would entrust them with any of my luggage needs!

As the name suggests, it stocks luggage cases, bags and a range of travel goods, in aim of meeting all your travelling needs. They have an assortment of suitcases in various colours and sizes, with prices starting at around £40 and going up to £340. Also in store are laptop bags, leather bags, ruck sacks, purses and wallets, as well as many useful travel accessories. The brands they stock are all high quality, specialized or designer brands so you can expect to get trustworthy items in a condition reflecting their value. I find the travel accessory section interesting to look at, and it always reminds me of something I would have otherwise forgotten to pack for my holiday (like plug adapters, or waist-wallets). I bought my Grandma a travel cushion from the shop for £5 about a year ago, and she is still raving about it! So the shop must be doing something quite right!

I left with a suitcase with detachable rucksack (a suitcase that can be carried as a rucksack, with arm straps!) and a huge duffel bag to stow the carseat in. I thought the prices to be competitive (the duffel bag only £14!) and the service top notch. The guy helped me with everything, took it to the counter while I looked around, helped me with the Summit Club membership and packaged it all up smoothly so I could get it back to my flat. The Kathmandu items are high quality and have already made many trips. They are durable and sleek, and high performance. Just what I needed. The last thing you want to deal with while traveling (with a baby or not) is crap luggage. Summit club membership is free and gains you access to great deals (most of the deals advertised, so...if you want 'em, you'll sign up). Sign up!

I always believe 'outdoor' stores were specially for extreme snowboarders or wannabe Nepalese-mountain climbers. Boy, was I wrong. Set right next to Spitalfields Market and boasting some rather fit staff, Kathmandu has everything for the civilian to adventurer. Water flasks, jackets, thermals, little key ring things with torches on them, it has it all. I actually found heaps of stuff I wanted to buy - probably more in the way you deck yourself out with designer gym wear after only one visit, to realise you're not quite the gym junkie you thought you would become if in fact you had the correct gear. It was fun anyway.
