Very popular in the evening for its take away pizza, we decided to try the dine in. The restaurant can easily seat around 40-50 inside, there was only one other family group. So no need to book ahead, just make sure you get here before 8 pm! Service is quick and very friendly. My chicken parmi was fresh and a generous portion, with a good amount of salad and chips. I had to sample the Butcher Block pizza, absolutely yummy! It's medium size would have been enough for the two of us, so we headed home with a doggy bag. Pizza for lunch tomorrow!!!!

This time we were 'walk…read moreins' on Xmas eve and despite not having made a booking the exceptionally helpful floor staff found us a table for 4. Food came out quicker than they had quoted and was both large in serving size and very tasty. My wife and I shared a large seafood pizza (which was more than plenty for the two of us) and our teenagers had pasta. Both who are fairly picky eaters rated the both the flavour and serving size. One thing to consider if you are hoping for a 'quiet' dinner is that the tile floor and lack of sound deadening means carrying on a conversation when the restaurant is full is very difficult as there is a lot of noise. But if you are looking for some good pizza, pasta, wine then definitely give this great little place a shot. As previously stated, this was not our first visit and am sure it will not be the last.

This place was such a let down to our weekend away for my husband's 50th. We arrived at the…read morerestaurant at 7pm on a Saturday night and although all of their indoor tables were taken, they didn't seem to be slammed. We asked for the timing for take away and were told 1/2 hour after the waitress checked with the head chef/pizza maker/owner. We decided that a 1/2 hour wouldn't be too long of a wait and ordered. Long story short, we waited just shy of 1 hour and when we complained the only thing they said was we are sorry, we are busy. We got back to our holiday house and opened the boxes only to find that they messed up the order. They couldn't even save themselves by serving amazing pizza. It was amazingly awful and I warn you never to go there!!!! We only ate it because we were starving at this point. What a letdown for the birthday boy :(

Maleny has many breakfast and lunch cafes, but this is one of relatively few options for dinner. An…read moreodd and very Australian arrangement, this open pizzeria operates separately but in the same space as a rather utilitarian neighborhood bar. The pizza menu is set pricing with one (high) price for each size of pizza; to compete with the fancier pizzas the basic options have been jazzed up with various greens and such (so there's no plain pizza). They also do offer vegan and gluten-free. They have no website, but their takeout business by phone was fairly busy, and the rushed and somewhat haphazard food preparation did not inspire much confidence for me. That being said, the pizza that resulted certainly tasted fresh, and the woodfired crust had a bit of char to it. All in all, I got the sense that this was the Taste of Maleny as it were, but given the drawbacks I was only just satisfied.
