The first time I went here was because of a recommendation from a friend. I went here to get my engagement ring resized and had such a fabulous experience. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I got my ring resized which I assumed would be very expensive because it has many gemstones and has an asymmetrical band. They were able to do the resizing in about a week and it was very affordable. When I got my ring back, they gave me suggestions to help keep my ring in great shape, the most helpful so far being to not sleep with it on. They also told me that I can stop by anytime to get a free cleaning. Since then, I've been in probably five times to get the ring cleaned. I'm always in shock at how beautiful it looks after the cleaning. Being an art teacher, it gets really dirty pretty quickly. It's always a good feeling to know that if I have ten extra minutes downtown, they can get it looking like new in no time. As mentioned, I've never bought jewelry here but I wish I could afford to because they have a unique, absolutely beautiful selection of jewelry on display. The store front is pretty small but the jewelry that they do have is all really awesome.

I wore it as almost social armor, but never connected it to my heart, my soul and as removed from my husband as a cold, white star. I gave the ring to my sweet momma. Years passed. We raised two children, bought a big old river farm. On a short little trip, we headed to Asheville: interesting, but not our vibe. I picked up a brochure and found Visions of Creation. On a whim, I slid a curvy band and artist made set onto my finger. It felt like it had been there all my life. Visions of Creation makes every other jewelry seem hollow. Every piece seems to carry heft, while being elegant. We are planning a trip back to Black Mountain. A visit to this magical place gives me something to look forward to.
