Dillons step father & Sam Clark have known each other years but never in this capacity. He made one call to him shortly after hearing the news. Thats it . The incredible, exp. staff at Sam Clark'sFuneral home worked quickly with the state of Ca. & the mortuary service needed out there to ensure requirments & documentation were in order for out of state transfer, before my family went out there to oversee his return home. They kept us informed and updated. they compassionately guided us through the process and gave my son the utmost of care & respect. They took care of all the details , based upon our wishes, necessary to accomodate the 350+ guest that came to the celebration of Dillons life. They coordinated with the sheriffs office & the 40 + motorcycle riders to give my son an escort fit for a king. What stayed with me the most though, was the genuine sincerity felt from owner Sam Clark, who actively stayed involved & if we were unsure or to emotional to speak he offered us personal advice pulled from years in business, all which contributed to the most memorable farewell anyone could ever have. While our hearts stay heavy they are full of gratitude to everyone at Sam Clarks Funeral Home. But I do feel that it's important to share our experience, since it was helpful when we looked into a cremation service. They were recommended by our hospice nurse, and I must say they were phenomenal throughout the entire process. This is a very difficult time, but everyone at Leaf Cremation was very caring, thoughtful and professional. Brookle was our main contact and she stayed in constant contact with us. She answers any questions very quickly and explain the process to us. We went to see our son one last time before the actual cremation took place and we found the place to be peaceful and calming. After seeing him, we walked thru the cemetery next to their location, and it was also a very serene and tranquil walk. Leaf Cremation also has many options for urns, jewelry, keepsakes, etc for your loved one ashes if you wish. If you looking for a cremation service in the ATL metro, we cannot recommend Leaf Cremation enough

The first time was for my father, and his wife made all of the arrangements. I was involved primarily as support. It was a nightmare. The funeral home tried every trick in the book to upsell her services, flower arrangements, and caskets/urns. When my mother passed away a few weeks ago, I was referred to Salmon Funeral Home. I called and then went in person, dealing primarily with Kyle Kiser. The whole experience, from beginning to end, was phenomenal. Kyle walked my sister and me through the entire process and explained all of the fees, necessary services, and what to expect, down to the filing of the insurance policy. He was "Johnny on the Spot" the entire time and never missed a beat in keeping us informed. He never once tried to upsell any service or offering and was completely transparent from beginning to end. I highly recommend their services to anyone having to deal with the death of a loved one. They were excellent!!!

So far I have yet to feel any of this amazing customer services I keep hearing so much about. I am in my 30s and knew zero about this process. I never buried a parent before. My very first experience meeting with this business, 2 people kept walking in and out the room and talking because apparently the fax machine was in that room. Ok. Understandable. After we got to the bottom of my issues, I left with my little burgundy folder. And a handful of questions. As of right now it's has been a month and I have called at least 3 times with questions. They say "I'm with a family I'll call you shortly " they never do. I have found myself asking relatives about the process or googling my concerns. At this point I feel like I am bothering them, or not as important for a call back. Hopefully no one asked me about this experience. I would be forced to remain silent . We all know, if you do not have anything nice to say, do not say anything at all.
