Tomoko Spa is located on a very busy street, but you forget all that as soon as you step inside. They do a really great job of creating a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The experience starts with a 15 min foot soak/massage, and that already was divine. The masseuse puts the perfect amount of pressure, and that combined with the warm water, almost put me to sleep, haha. For the body massage part, the masseuse asks you what parts you want focused on and how much pressure you would like. They are also really good at checking in at various parts of the massage to make sure you are completely satisfied. I really appreciated how thorough they are with the massage and also how proactive they are in making sure you are enjoying the experience. At the end of the massage, we were given hand-whisked matcha tea to drink, and they also provided us jelly, a handwritten note, and a rose to celebrate our anniversary :) We had such a lovely experience, and I cannot recommend this place enough, whether to celebrate a special occasion, or just to treat yourself! ** If you book a couple's massage, they provide complimentary parking in the lot next to the spa, otherwise there's paid street parking or parking garages available nearby

The atmosphere was calm and respectful, and the staff was wonderful. Helen did my scrub and did an excellent job (on the harsher side, which I loved). The gentleman at the front desk was very polite and friendly. I immediately recommended this place to my group chat and will definitely be back. The only thing missing is food options -- hope they add some in the future.

This is great if you want it quiet. Not a place you come with a bunch of friends that want to socialize. $3 validated parking for the Central Plaza parking garage right across from it. Came when they had 50% off admission which was $25 but seemed overpriced if you are a guy. Pros: -Unlimited Reishi mushroom tea. They also have water and coffee everywhere. -Large sized towel, robe, slippers in the locker. -3 jacuzzis (Himalayan salt, alkaline, citrus) , wet sauna (love that it's like a fog/mist and not shower sprayers!), dry sauna, and 3 specialized rooms (Infrared, salt, and mud room w small heated balls which was my favorite). All was great, but wish there was a cold pool in the women's area too. Cons/Room for improvement: -Though they now have a clothed, co-ed section, it is underwhelming. -The jacuzzi was warm, not hot. -There was a waterfall pool but was very shallow and also just warm. -Cold Plunge is a 5 ft. deep pool that had a rickety ladder to get in/out of. It would've been nice if it had a seat. -The wet and dry saunas were off and took a while to turn on, but never got hot. My guy friend gave feedback on the men's locker room: -no restroom inside -no sinks inside - no sit down showers which the women's side has If I were a guy, I wouldn't come just for the spa as it just feels like a side amenity. And definitely expensive even at $25.

Decadence Achieved: The Spa at Four Seasons Westlake Village…read moreEvery now and then, life demands indulgence. Not the polite kind--the full, no-apologies, lean-back-and-exhale kind. The spa at Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village understands this assignment perfectly. From the moment you step inside, the world slows down. The space is expansive, serene, and thoughtfully designed to make you forget responsibilities exist. This is a non-coed spa, which means uninterrupted relaxation and a genuinely tranquil atmosphere--no awkward shuffling, no distractions, just peace. The amenities are where things get deliciously excessive. Steam rooms and saunas that melt stress on contact. Jacuzzis that feel like they were engineered specifically for sore muscles and tired souls. And the showers--my goodness--the water pressure is so powerful it could make Niagara Falls feel a little insecure. Equal parts refreshing and borderline therapeutic assault in the best possible way. Everything feels intentional, luxurious, and generous. There's room to breathe, room to linger, and room to fully sink into the experience without feeling rushed or crowded. This is not a "pop in and pop out" spa. This is a stay awhile, you've earned it kind of place. The spa at Four Seasons Westlake Village doesn't just offer relaxation--it delivers indulgence with confidence. If you're craving an experience that feels restorative, decadent, and deeply satisfying, this spa doesn't miss. Five stars, no restraint, and absolutely worth surrendering an entire afternoon to. Until next time...

Extremely disappointing experience and terrible customer service…read more My partner and I visited the Four Seasons Spa to celebrate our anniversary, hoping to spend time together before and after our services. Because this is a gender-specific spa, communication was especially important -- yet it was completely mishandled. I waited in the lobby for 20 minutes--twice--while my partner was inside, and the staff never once informed her that I was waiting. Later, I went to the pool, and again, they failed to tell her where I was. As a result, we lost valuable time together on what was supposed to be a special occasion. What made the situation worse was the response from the manager, Carene. She spoke down to us, dismissed our concerns, and denied that anything went wrong, even though the lack of communication was obvious. There was no apology or accountability--only repeated statements that she "disagreed" with our experience. For a brand like the Four Seasons, this level of customer service is unacceptable. Our anniversary was impacted, and instead of being met with empathy or professionalism, we were treated with indifference. I would never return here again. The customer service was terrible, and I do not recommend this spa.
