Terrible experience, less than one star if I could. I made an appointment weeks ahead , paid my deposit and did my paperwork promptly. When I arrived I was told they couldn't do the procedure because I was on a certain medication. It would have been nice for them to 1: put this information on their website or 2: tell me at the time of making the appointment or 3: put this info on the paperwork I did online or 4: add this to the email confirmation. Although other med spas do not have this restriction it's their option to have it. If being on certain medications is their hard stop- they should let clients know. This tells me all I need to know about how they conduct business. I drove an hour for this place and I was planning for other procedures in the future, but no thanks.Then, on top of all of that, they couldn't figure out how to refund my deposit. I am a repeat client at this spa. I have had treatments from both Chrissy and Kellie and both women are fantastic at what they do. Incredibly professional and kind. I recently called to schedule an appt for a massage after a trip, and while they did not have an opening, the receptionist (also great) suggested a facial. I realized after changing climates, this was actually what I needed. Kellie was wonderful as always, completely attentive to my skin's needs, and I couldn't be happier with my freshly tightened and moisturized face. It was also extremely relaxing. read more

I have gotten facials from Kellie for several years now and swear by them! She is knowledgeable, friendly, and remembers my skincare history. I usually get level 2 peels, which are very reasonably priced, quick, and leave my acne-prone skin smooth and clear. I have sensitive skin so the peeling is very noticeable for about a week, but that is the purpose. I have also received hydrafacials, signature facials, and dermaplaning. Went into Bellagena with a gift card and low expectations of getting a good facial as my prior, now retired, esthetician walked on water in my book... Well, I was pleasantly surprised!! The facility was spacious and impeccably clean. My esthetician Stephanie was wonderful! She was careful to use product that didn't burn my sensitive skin and gave a really nice facial massage. Conversation with her was easy and light-hearted. When she was finished I felt fresh and rejuvenated. I booked another facial with her and added a massage for my next appointment. I had been a regular client of Bellagena Spa for 15 months, so I did not expect the "I just don't care" treatment I received when I experienced a negative reaction to one of their procedures. I had purchased a 3 treatment package after I was assured by their employee that even though I have sensitive skin I should have no problem with their ReZenerate facial. Unfortunately, I did have a serious negative reaction to the 1st treatment and I went in the next day to show them. I had long, raised welts that were warm and produced a burning sensation all across the treatment area of my chest. I was told to "go home and apply a wet washcloth." I let them know I would be going to see my doctor, who was quite concerned about the reaction and prescribed medication to undo the damage. It took over 2 weeks for the treatment area to heal. I believe that when a client displays a negative reaction to a treatment, that a business interested in maintaining its clients would show some concern. Not Bellagena. No concern, no apology and absolutely no refund! They have refused to return any of the money paid for 3 treatments, two of which I can no longer receive and one that damaged my skin. After 2 weeks, 2 phone calls and 2 visits, the owner offered a 2/3 credit. I did not think that was appropriate. I definitely will not be returning to Bellagena. read more

I have been researching a place in Bradenton for a facial for 7 yrs !!!! I previously had gone to an amazing place in Sarasota ( she moved ) . Really discouraged after having a facial in Bradenton recently. I did some more research and Bellagena seemed to fit the bill . I made an appointment with Kellie ( a month ago ) and went again today !!! Omg !!! Kellie is amazing and you can believe that to be the truth . I had a signature facial ( my second with her ) and it was the best !!! Kellie is warm , professional and does a thorough job and the most epic facial massage . If anyone gets any service from this spa whatever you do, do not be late.. not even 10 min! I recently purchased a gift certificate for a massage and a facial for my wife. The customer service was outstanding. Paying by card was breeze and the owner offered to have my receipt emailed or texted for easy record keeping. My wife had an amazing massage session. She advised me that I can get her massage any time from Bellagena! The facial was done a different day and was day altering! It turned a bad day into a great day. I have been to Bellagena a handful of times and am still amazed! I have horrible roseca to the point where I looked sunburned all the time. After the 1st facial with Julia, my skin looked amazing-like new, hardly any redness. My skin looks great and I am very happy with the results. I am no longer embarrassed about it. I have used the Image vital C product line, which was great. I love that the facials are customized to my needs and issues. I'm very happy with the service I received walking in to bellagena They made you feel welcome and comfortable walking in. Offered many options of drinks and snacks before my treatment. I had Gerald who explained everything in detail for me since it was my first time ever getting a massage. And I was very impressed with how he prioritized my problem areas which came to be alot. Definitely worth every bit of 5 stars! This salon is absolutely beautiful. Clean, comfy and calming. The front desk staff were warm and accommodating. I wish I remembered their names..Gerald gave a fantastic massage, ensuring the pressure was to my preference and worked out all of those knots I came in with. This was my first visit to Bellagena & will NOT be my last (Groupon). Julia (owner) was amazing and a true leader in skin care. I had the dermafile with extraction. I moved to Bradenton 2 years ago and have had a difficult time finding the "right esthetician" for my needs. Not only was she amazing, she explained the process and made me feel comfortable with all my insecurities. Very professional. The studio is set up nicely and I was very relaxed. I am in Bradenton, on vacation, from TN. I found Bellagena Spa & thought I'd give them a try. I'm SO glad I did, because I can't say enough great things about them!!! So far, I've had a 90 min. Swedish massage with Jared & a Bellagena specialty facial with Julia. BOTH services more than exceeded my expectations in techniques used, the knowledge of each technician & their sheer professionalism. Jared gave me the best 90 min. Swedish massage that I've ever had, by paying attention to my 'problem' rhomboids & ultra sensitive neck. He responded to my troubled muscles with perfect pressure & great therapeutic technique. The facial I got from Julia was Amazing! She used many different layers of product that she chose due to my skin type, & each one feeling great. She performed a dermaplane on my face, giving me a deep exfoliation, & providing fresh-looking skin. She also gave me a lash lift/tint, resulting in the loveliest eyelashes I've ever had. I wish I could take the entire spa home to Nashville with me. Their services have definitely made my vacation a better one.
