I added the hot stones which weren't real hot. My muscles were not a focal point at all. She put pressure and the stones on my bones - my ankles, my spine, my shoulder bone and blade. She never even laid a finger on my calves, which were sore. I am an athlete so my muscles stay pretty tight. My back was the first thing that was massaged and then a dry towel was laid on top of my back, then they put hot stones on the towel? I don't even feel the heat at all. Then she put the blanket on top of the towel and so my whole massage I had this dry towel just sitting on my back. Then she pulled 2 of the rocks off my back after massaging other areas for a while, which made them no longer hot at all, and used them on my feet. When I flipped over, she took the cover that was on the pillow I used when face-down, and asked if she could cover my eyes with it. She put it on my forehead and pushed down. My eyes were not covered and everytime she'd move, this pillow cover would move up and down. She also put the rocks in my hands, so I had to hold them throughout the rest of the massage, not real comfortable. I have never left a massage and immediately booked another one to actually give me a massage. I'm not sure if this place got new management or what, I had never seen any of the people there that were there today, but it was very upsetting. We had 4 women in our group. 2 got facials and 2 got full massages. We still tipped 20%, but that's because we are decent people. We Definitely did not get what we paid for. One of the ladies were very pleased with their facial, thats it. It is upsetting to pay a company over $250 for a massage and not get the service you paid for.

They didn't use a light to examine my face for impurities, they never removed blackheads, toner or serum. They just felt like they kept using the same foaming cleansing stuff over and over again. Overall the experience reminded me of an old run down Chinese restaurant that turned into a spa. I would not recommend wasting your time or money on this place.

I would definitely give this studio a chance on any of their numerous services. However, I have to admit I was slightly disappointed in my results. One of my eyes became irritated and I had to stop the process. Emily provided my service for this visit. She walked me through the whole process. I found her to be very calming and professional. I appreciate her efforts despite the difficulties of working on my eyes. Emily also recommended products to help lengthen and thicken my lashes. Her expertise and recommendations were very welcome. I would recommend this salon. Just maybe not this service if you have sensitive eyes and fine and thin lashes.
