My daughter is 30 years old and autistic. She has a caregiver from BellaCare In home healthcare which is the best!! She takes her places and is very interactive with her!! She treats her like family!! Thank you BellaCare for bringing us a fantastic caregiver!! read more

BellaCare Inc opened in May of 2017 to offer Omaha and surrounding areas a new and improved way to receive Home Health Care. BellaCare Inc offers packaged deals in order to relieve some of the financial burden of Home Care. BellaCare also is a Medicaid Waiver provider, and offers discounts for Military Veterans.

After watching my parents go through the process of finding specialized care for my grandparents, I knew that one day I would need to begin the same course for my own mother and father. It's been over a year, and I've had time to reflect. While hospice care should center on compassion, communication, and trust, our experience fell short in several critical ways. Our family often felt unheard, with key decisions made without fully including all family members with decision making authority. Communication lacked consistency and transparency, and at times we were given information that later proved to be inaccurate. There were also concerns around professionalism. Sensitive information was discussed in ways that felt inappropriate, which further eroded our trust. Additionally, clear family wishes--particularly regarding the timing of certain medications--were not consistently respected, and explanations around those decisions were conflicting. Basic care expectations were not always met. Equipment that was promised was not provided, and safety measures that should have been in place were absent, leading to a preventable fall incident. End-of-life care is one of the most vulnerable experiences a family can go through. It requires honesty, coordination, and deep respect for both the patient and their loved ones. Unfortunately, our experience did not reflect those standards. It is not surprising that Endless Journey's nurses received probation and fines for misconduct in July 2026. I share this out of concern. No family should have to navigate this type of added distress during a time of grief. My Grandma was an amazing woman and I am grateful for the time that I got to spend with her.

My parents are not only happy with advanced home health care, they are blown away. They expected…read moresomeone to check in on them but the company went so far beyond that. They have interacted with doctors, taken care of my parents recognizing physical well being, monitored progression of memory issues, medication and bathing. Jessica's reports have been written with compassion, guidance and detailed suggestions providing a road map for us. This helps us keep well informed and reduces the family drama among us. We are just so happy to have an educated outsider instead of a family members impression. We are just so happy with her company! If you ask my parents Jessica and her team don't walk on water, they dance, that's all we ever hear about. I would recommend advanced home health care to anyone.

I used to love this Urgent Care, which says a lot based on how often and for what reasons I found…read moremyself there. But, since rebranding as CHI, it's decreased in a couple areas. First, you must beware when you are being given items to take home for care, such as braces and splints. They now partner with See the Trainer in Bellevue. You sign the authorization with no clue as to the price, and the nurses do not know either. Then, 6 weeks later, you receive a bill for an outrageous amount. In my case, it was a $79 bill for a brace that cost $26.57 on Amazon. On top of that, I was seen (same visit, mind you) for a ankle injury. I was told that when the nurse practitioner looked at the x-rays, it was severely sprained and that I should feel better in "a couple weeks." A few days later, I found it odd that I had not received a follow-up call (as usual, when the specialist reviews the x-rays). I called and requested that it be looked at. Turns out, I had fractured my ankle and the bone was chipped on the side, with a recovery time of 6-8 weeks. Had I never called back, I may never have known this. If you are paying the price for an urgent care, the service needs to be better. And over the last year or two, it has declined. Sure the building is new and looks awesome, but when I am in an urgent care, I am more concerned with the quality of treatment than the awesomeness of the waiting area. I will be going to UNMC from now on.
