The gentleman behind the counter was very kind and patient trying to point to see what this customer wanted. They also tried to get the child they were with to translate and worked it out. I wanted to make sure I came to update my old review, because sometimes a "community favorite" does not welcome all people from its community" - but Ben's Deli does. (go read my first review, it still holds true) We usually come for breakfast and I love their breakfast sandwiches and platters. I also love that they come with strong coffee and everything is reasonably priced. Don't forget to get some baked goods too - the $1 pumpkin cake slices are our favorite!

The portion size/cost was very fair, this was 2 meals for me. My only critique would be on the Cooper American cheese used. I would prefer a sharper cheese, Cooper sharp or even provolone. I'll inquire if there are other options. Even if there weren't, I'd still get this anytime. I saw several other lunch items of interest to me, and in the right frame of mind and early enough several breakfast options too. Service was friendly and fast. I added plenty of red pepper flakes and oregano to kick start the sauce. Overall I think the pizza was OK/average, there was nothing terrible about it, but certainly nothing distinctive that would make me go out of my way to have it again. I heard a lot of people come in and order Chicken Cheesesteaks while I was there, and didn't notice many pizza's going out the door. They charged me $3.00 extra for each of 3 drinks for ice. I questioned our server and she took me to the bar manager who assured me this is correct. Please check your bill to see what other extras they may be adding on. They can keep the $40.00 I spent for 3 drinks, but I will not spend another dime there.
