Lovely staff, great location, mediocre food.
I had a large salad and a no cheese (vegan) pizza.
Salad was fine. Large enough to share.
Mixed greens, tomato, eggplant, onion, sun dried tomato.
Pizza was a bit of a disappointment. Sauce was ok, but the crust was not completely done. Big no-no.
Had it been completely cooked, I'd be going with 4 out of 5 stars.
I'm also not a fan of putting whole olives with seeds on a pizza, but that seems to be the trend here.
I should note that pretty much everybody around me was eating pizza and quite a few are locals.
They seemed to be happy with theirs....
For me, if I had stopped at the salad, this place would've been a 4 out of 5, but you're probably not going there just for a salad.
I ended up with the pizza (second in two days) as their pasta are all egg noodles (thanks for telling me!)
Really, the best thing about this place is it's open after pretty much everything else closes! read more
