The shop is tiny but clean and they sterilize their tools which no other salon in town that I've found does. My feet got soaked in a simple stainless steel bowl on a towel on the floor and then I had to put my feet up on the knees of the technician sitting in front of me. That was uncomfortable for me and undoubtably was uncomfortable for the technician. Quite an un-relaxing experience for pedi. The gel nails I had put on haven't lasted well - one partially chipped off a few hours after getting them done and the pedi was mediocre at best for the cost $60 (which didn't included any heel scrubbing or massage). The staff were pleasant but the atmosphere & facilities did not meet up to my expectations from how they advertise themselves as a high end, spa like, top quality establishment. I feel that the salon is quite over priced at $135 for a very basic no frills pedi & gel mani.

Kathy quickly found a time that I could come back (even though I'm pretty sure it was just past their closing time). It was a wonderful experience. Despite knowing that I would never become a regular (since I live in Florida), she still took her time to give me a perfect Gel French manicure along with a delicious latte. She is extremely knowledgeable about her craft and provided me with some education that I will take home with me. The salon was very clean and I absolutely love, love, love the fact that they do not reuse their nail files. I was handed the file to take home with me after the manicure. I had the Environ Deep Cleansing Facial. After your treatments they offer you tea and can relax in their mini lounge. Both ladies did a superb job and were extremely friendly! But the rest of the story is amazing. They were closed when I realized I had left my rings and watch behind. I had an early train to Auckland - owner Jo Watson took charge, overnighted the package to my hotel here and I have my jewelry back. My feet, hands and heart are so happy. So for many reasons I highly recommend this spa.
