She pulled my hair to the back, cut it and pulled it around to the front where it was just above my chin line. So 5-6" shorter than discussed. Totally not what I asked for. Called for a haircut on a Saturday and got an appointment two hours later- that was great…read more Salon is small- a nail room, 3 chairs for cuts and one shampoo bowl. A girl and I got our haircuts at the same time and she and her stylist had to wait while I was shampooed. Probably wasn't the most fun for her, I'm glad I wasn't the one waiting. Rachel talked to me about what I wanted and asked me questions which I appreciate in a stylist. Then she gave me a great scalp massage during the shampoo. I could have gone home then and been happy. During the cut she took the time to check her work and added in some angled scissoring at the ends. I'm not an expert at hair cutting techniques but my hair style was exactly what I'd described and wanted. I will definitely be back for Rachel. The negatives of the salon are its lack of more than one shampoo bowl and the need for a privacy screen or some sort of camouflage for their back area for the employees.
