**I WILL REVISE THIS REVIEW IF ISSUES ARE CORRECTED** -I am an Active Duty Military member who contacted Bella Pavers. I was promised the below and it's been a stressful several weeks. I do not know where all of these 5-star reviews come from... But I'll tell you an honest and candid experience!- I contacted Jorge at Bella about a back yard paver job that I had previously got quoted by another company, he gave me a good price and said that he was surprised the previous paver company which was great [JC Pavers] took -three- days to complete a massive paver job over 2000 sqft. He told me Bella does an exceptional job and applies the paver base, and Crete smoothly and efficiently. It sounded amazing! The job was delayed by them 1 week at first due to other jobs of theirs.. come Monday, we were not a priority and still the team did not show up. Tuesday, a couple workers laid paver dirt down and removed old bricks, only missing a few areas which I was told would be corrected the next day. The next day came and no one showed up. A huge pile of dirt left on the street. I texted multiple times and am concerned because I paid 90% of the job already. I was told they would be here Thursday morning. No one again showed up. I expressed high concern that I need the job finished but Friday. There is so much to do!!! I am extremely concerned about being a priority. I feel you should only have to pay once the job is done. I am praying this does not need to go further. **Update: Our original contact date was July 28th. He's been paid 90% of the total invoice. The work is unfinished as of 23 August and the company has still failed to deliver a completed job.** His phone is turned off and no email. read more

**UPDATE** After exactly 13 weeks after the contracted day the job was supposed to be done, it is FINALLY finished. The work is beautiful but definitely NOT worth the hassle. After the job was completed, I was contacted multiple times to change my review....which is ridiculous and unprofessional, especially since people are STILL reaching out to me saying he's currently doing the same to them. I paid the rest of the job and I feel like I really shouldn't have because of everything we had to go through. Ultimately, I feel like our job was only completed because I was loud about it. I posted reviews with our experience on all platforms and had friends share it. *I will update this review pending completion* **Updating this currently on 10/25 We are now past 11 WEEKS past the promised completion date. After weeks of Jorge sending constant excuses saying things like "your job is my priority", absolutely no more work has been done. Jorge promised to be here today, 10/25 at 9am to finish the job. It is now 1:45pm and he is not responding to any text messages or phone calls. Countless times has he promised to be here to finish the job and he never shows or calls. I cannot adjust my schedule to sit at home all day every time he does this as he has done this so many times. We are beyond frustrated at this point.** We were scheduled for pavers to be installed on august 5. On August 5 the owner, Jorge arrived at our house and took 90% payment for the job. His guys dug up the back yard, leveled it and put down sand. After that we were told they needed to get things and they would be back. They never came back. After days and days of reaching out, Jorge finally said he would be back on a certain day and then on that day, never showed. He's done this quite a few times now. Now here we are, SEVEN weeks later and we still have no pavers and Jorge still barely responds. When he does, it's always some excuse. I have a pile of sand in my driveway still and my front yard is dug up and tacky looking! After trying to contact Jorge for an update, he finally responded and said he would be here to finish the install today 9/21 at 9am. He never showed. I've texted several times, messaged on Facebook, and called. Left voicemail. No answer. I finally got a reply with a thumbs up? And nothing else at 11. Around 12, after texting and calling a few times Jorge responded and said he was busy organizing and sorry for not responding and then nothing. Around 2pm I called and texted again and got a response but no answer on when he would be here. No update still. We've had to adjust our schedules every time Jorge has said he will be here for install and then he never shows and doesn't respond until later in the night. We can't adjust our schedules and sit around waiting for him every single time he says he will be here anymore. We have been very patient and understanding but this is ridiculous. The job not being done 7 weeks later after he's collected most of the payment is shady. We paid for 90% of the job and only 10% of the work is done....SEVEN WEEKS LATER! Attached are pictures of the pile of sand, that makes it difficult for one of our cars to get in and out of the driveway, the dug up front yard that has been left like this for 7 weeks now and the very few responses I got today. It's been so long that grass is starting to grow back and all the rain has washed a bunch of the sand away. read more

If I can give them Zero star that's what I will give them! DO NOT HIRE!!! We hired this company named BELLA PAVERS CONSTRUCTION and MORE. We gave JORGE RAMOS our money ($7000) for deposit last year November 28th 2022 for a paver installation. He said they will start working on December 12th and will finish December 23rd. My husband tried to communicate with him between those dates but JORGE does not reply to his text messages or calls! Or if he replies he will just tell LIES! If we ask him when is he coming to start working, He will say I will come on this day but he will never show up. The month of December passed and he did not show up. I told him we are giving him til the end of January to finish his job or just give our money back if he can't do it. He still didn't show up despite of texting and calling him so many times everyday. He doesn't want to return our money either and he keeps on promising that he will do the job. I can't make him come to my house to work so on February 13th I went to his Business Page on Facebook and gave him a bad review and posted some of his pictures. I saw that there's also lots of bad reviews from other costumers which is now hidden. Search on YELP, and some of the reviews are there. He didn't like what I did so that same day he showed up. They dug and removed the grass. That was their first day of work since he took the money in November! They didn't show up on February 14th They came back on February 15, to continue digging & removing grass. On February 16th he asked for another $3000.00. On February 17th we gave the $3,000.00, thinking that they will keep working until it's finished, but we are wrong. Two of his guys cut the pool sides and Jorge went to get the coping. I think that's where he used the money. I don't know where he used the $7000 we gave him, but we know he cannot work because he doesn't have money to buy the materials that he needs for our project. They did one part of the pool, put sand around it and left it dirty and undone for more than 2 weeks. I did not stop texting and calling him. On March 4th Jorge Ramos showed up and delivered 4 pallets of pavers. Did not show up March 5-6 telling us all kinds of excuses like what he's been doing from the beginning. On March 7th they installed some pavers. He said 11 pallets of pavers and coping will be delivered on Sunday March 12th and they will finish the job on that same day. We did not get the delivery and the job is not finished and doesn't want to give our money back! Please see attached photos. Thank you Jorge and team for doing our pavers! My husband had a vision of paving the backyard and adding a pergola (pergola was DIY by us). They started with our backyard (12x36 with fire pit) and because we were so happy with the first session, we ended up having the sides of our driveway and the area by the front door too. Shame on me but I hired him again to do another small job (he agreed to complete the part he didn't before). gave him $800 as a deposit. DO NOT RECOMMEND. $1500 Deposit was paid in May and was advised work on a walkway would begin on June 1st. No call/no show on June 1st and no communication to advise reason for no show. Since then I've reached out multiple times and have been given at least 10 different dates advising that the work will begin on x date. Received a text from Jorge on August 11th that a refund would be given if work was not completed by that weekend, work was not completed on that weekend. Was given another date of November 11th to receive refund, after multiple texts and calls, the deposit has not been returned as of November 28th. For a project quoted as taking a few days, we have been waiting 6 months and the project has not been done and no refund has been provided as requested. Unreliable!!! If your project isn't pricy enough he will come take your deposit and never respond. I have requested a refund of my deposit of $500 and no response. It has been 2 months since he took my deposit and now I just consider it theft. He came up with a million excuses why he couldn't do the work like his truck broke down, child care issues etc. But he always managed to do the bigger jobs. Unreliable. Unresponsive. Do not recommend. Flat out lies about when he'll do the work. After depositing $1,000 a few months back, we called him 3 weeks ago to complete the work. He wouldn't commit to a day, but told us sometime between 20-25 June. Jorge wouldn't respond at all for the last two weeks on when he would show up to do the work. I left him a negative review on 20June and he FINALLY called my wife to commit to a date and time for the install (25June @9am). Shockingly, he didn't show at the time he told us. My wife called and texted him multiple times, he kept responding that he was on his way. He showed up around 1:30-2pm, no apologies and was completely dismissive about being late. After about an hour or so he rang the doorbell to tell me he didn't have enough paver base and would have to come back tomorrow to finish. We told him we had plans so we needed to know exactly when he would be arriving. He told us 7:30am because he wanted to finish and had a major project starting on Monday. It is now after 3pm and he still hasn't shown, texted or called. My wife has left multiple unanswered texts and called at least 10 times. He seems to have turned his phone off for the last few calls. Thanks to Jorge and Desiree with Bella Construction. They were incredibly responsive, stopping by within just 1-2 days to inspect the yard and provide a detailed and fair quote on the work. Jorge and his team installed an 18' x 20' paver patio in our backyard, using Old Town style Sierra colored stones; he also gave great suggestions on paver style/color to match the coloring around our house. The work was completed in just one day, working through rainstorms throughout the afternoon. He was very thorough and communicative to ensure we got exactly what we wanted. The final contoured patio looks great, is completely level, and we can't wait to get some furniture and host our first guests. We are very pleased with the final product. read more
