His wife is also very sweet and showed us some cool wedding ideas/keepsakes. Jac did the best job for our ceremony. Everything he said was perfect and he had a few jokes to keep people listening and engaged. He wrote a beautiful, unique , and very heart felt wedding ceremony. He added a little message to remember my husbands father who passed. He even worked with our harp player to add music and prayer to our ceremony. His services also included the rehearsal and everyone was late to mine and he waited and helped me work through everything. He even stayed after the ceremony and all my friend and family just loved him! He made my day so special. I had a semi traditional wedding but Jac and his wife support all marriages and are some the nicest people I have ever met. I would highly recommended Jac or his wife to be the officiant for your wedding.

When we got to the courthouse the day of, we were told we had been given the wrong information and got turned away because we weren't residents of that county. We found liz and Jac and called from the parking lot of the court house. They were so understanding and to our surprise Jac was able to meet up with us that same day and marry us at the place of our choice. It turned out beautiful and I'm kind of glad the courthouse didn't work out. Jac was so kind and very professional. We'll never forget this day and highly recommend this company. After noticing several religious…read moreitems in their pictures, I emailed to ask if they were open to working with queer couples and got the following in response: "This venue is located at our Christian home. We personally have gay friends but we believe their behavior is a sin. I am a sinner and I believe we should love the sinner and hate the sin. The current law allows gay couples to marry. I think gay couples should respect the beliefs of others just as they want to be respected. " Clearly, they don't want to come right out and say we are not welcome, but they made it clear. Nowhere in my initial email was I disrespectful to them, so I'm not sure whey they felt the need to point out that we needed to respect their beliefs. A simple, "We can not accommodate your request at this time," would have been fine. We were not asking them to officiate our wedding. We were asking them if they would do their jobs as business owners, take our money, host our event, and keep their personal opinions to themselves. How their religious beliefs impact their business I don't really understand. It is really too bad, because as I mentioned, this venue looks absolutely gorgeous. However after the rude and frankly condescending email back, I will be taking my business elsewhere. I suggest those who support marriage equality do not support this highly unprofessional business.

They also let us choose our own caterer which helped us save so much money. There are so many gorgeous locations for a ceremony, and the reception hall is spacious and filled with natural light! Once the Sun goes down, the entire venue transformed into a romantic dream with string lights draped all over! We also stayed overnight before the wedding and made use of the hot tub! It was so worth it to wake up the day of our wedding and already be there.
