I mostly spoke with Angela but the other Stagg I encountered or spoke with on the phone were so patient and had no problem answering questions no matter how many times I called. Angela always followed up and things were sent over when the Staff said they would be. This was such a heartbreaking experience for my family but they made things go so smooth from getting his body to them and going through the entire process. They let know what to expect the hours after his death and how to properly preserve him until we dropped off. Just little things that really mattered in the moment. Angela made sure we had plenty of keepsakes of our Big Boy and was so accommodating with helping us finalize minute details. I never had to go through anything like this and never realized all these services were available. Our pets are really our family members and they didn't make me feel odd for crying on the phone or wanting to remember my pet. It is an understatement to say that losing a pet is an unpleasant experience. When the time comes…read morefor your beloved dog or cat to pass on, like with a person, it becomes necessary to see that their remains are cared for properly. When I was faced with the loss of my own dog, multiple people recommended that I have her arrangements handled by Homeward Bound. I am glad that I followed their advice. Homeward Bound provides a variety of memorial services for your pet and has multiple package options to suit your needs. Personally, I chose the company's standard package, which included my dog's cremation, a beautiful wooden urn (with memorial plaque), and four bookmarks that featured my dog's picture, hair, paw and nose prints. I also received a certificate of her cremation. Homeward Bound also picked up my dog's body from the veterinarian's office, which needless to say, took the burden of that unpleasant task from my shoulders. The company also has more (and less) advanced packages, including preparing your pet for burial. They can even provide a memorial service - if that's your wish. Homeward Bound's prices are exceptionally affordable, and they can suit almost any budget. When you contact the business, you will undoubtedly speak to their wonderful staff member, Colleen. While you may not be able to immediately reach her, if you leave a message, she will almost immediately get back with you. While I don't know her personally, Colleen seems to be a true lover of animals and people alike. From my personal experience, she made a tough situation easier. When I collected the ashes, I noted that she included a small baggie of my dog's hair. This was not something that was listed as being included in the package that I ordered; Colleen just thought I would like it. She was wrong: I loved it! Using the services of Homeward Bound is not something to which you will look forward. However, when it comes time to make memorial arrangements for your beloved cat, dog, or even your horse, be sure to consider this company. I know I will.

On September 1, 2026, my husband and I had to make the incredibly difficult decision to say goodbye to our beloved 17-year-old Pit Bull Terrier, Jubilee. Jubilee was a rescue and had been a cherished member of our family for 17 wonderful years. We met with Ron to discuss Jubilee's cremation, and from the very beginning, he was professional, compassionate, patient, understanding, and incredibly respectful of our grief. We never felt rushed or pressured. One thing that really stood out to us was that Ron was not a high-pressure salesperson. He explained the available urns, keepsakes, and memorial options, but left those decisions completely up to us. There was no pushing unnecessary products or additional fees during an already heartbreaking time. He even welcomed us providing our own custom box/urn for Jubilee's ashes. Ron also went above and beyond by providing us with beautiful ink impressions of Jubilee's paws and nose, a clay paw print, and fur clippings. These little memorial keepsakes are incredibly meaningful to us and will be treasured forever. When you're grieving the loss of a beloved pet, you need someone who treats your pet with dignity, kindness, and respect and treats you with compassion. That's exactly what we experienced with Faithful Friends in Passing. We highly recommend Ron and Faithful Friends in Passing to anyone in Columbus, Indiana, and the surrounding area who needs compassionate and trustworthy pet cremation services. We are incredibly grateful for the care and respect shown to Jubilee and to us. Thank you, Ron, for helping us give our sweet girl the peaceful and dignified goodbye she deserved. Rest peacefully, Jubilee. 17 years was never long enough.

When it came time to make arrangements, my Amazing Animal Caregiver Team at Community Pet Health Care in Zionsville recommended Loyal and True Pet Cremation Services and I could not be more appreciative and thankful for that recommendation. From the very beginning, their genuine compassion was apparent. Located in Anderson, they sent the kindest, most respectful individual to gently handle Sophie's remains and take her on her journey for cremation. When the time came, they went above and beyond by bringing her back to my veterinary team in Zionsville, sparing me from making the drive from Indianapolis to Anderson. Much to my surprise, Sophie was returned in a beautifully carved wooden box, accompanied by a clay paw print keepsake, a Passing Certificate, the Rainbow Bridge Story, and even thoughtful guidance on how to navigate the grieving process. (The painting you see is my way to process my grief and my way to honor Ms. Soph). I was super appreciative of their follow-up call to check in and to genuinely see how I was doing. While I hope I won't need their services again any time soon, I know with absolute certainty that when the time comes, Loyal and True will be my first call! Thank you Loyal and True!!!!

I also understand that as time goes by, things are added to make it easier for owners to do business. A little over a week ago, my Daisy girl passed, sitting right next to me on my sofa. I immediately reached out to Jane to request her services. It was maybe 730-800 pm. She advised that she could not make it until 10 am the next day and stated I could just leave my girl on the sofa, which I did. I had also given her the weight and what type of service I wanted. I advised that I had already priced it and I knew it would be a bit more for her weight. The next day rolls around, and I am anxiously waiting for her arrival. 1020 and still no show, but in todays technology, I would expect a text advising she was running behind. I then sent her a text, and she advised she would be here around 1030. 1045 comes around and still no show. She finally arrived just before 11 am. She also showed up ALONE, and had my adult son not been here, I have no idea how she would have gotten her out by herself. No apologies, or even noting that she was sorry for being late, and that she would need help getting my baby to the car. At no point and time the night before did she state that she would need assistance. Next, I wanted to confirm I paid when I picked her up. It was at that time she stated she needed payment prior to leaving with her, which I did. I do not have an issue with asking for pre-payment, but with being a past customer, maybe advising your client that policies have changed would have been nice. When I did the quote online, I came up with $325, no problem, my baby was worth that and more. She then advises it will be $450. So no consideration that not only was she late, but she could also not do what she is being paid to do without assistance. I of course paid her on the spot. She calls a few days ago to let me know my girl is ready for pick up. I had scheduled a time for today and due to losing my car keys, I could not make it. I called just prior to my appt and no answer. My son then called back to make a new appt and he was greeted with a lecture about not showing up. Really, I do not recall, (because it did not happen) a call the week prior when she was almost an hour late. I also do not appreciate that when I called to explain why I had not been there, THE PHONE DISCONNECTED. I really hope her phones went out!!!
