I'm in Kansas and needed flowers delivered for a memorial service in Maryland. I selected Bell Flowers from several possibilities returned by a Google search, and was very glad I did. After placing the order for delivery to a Friday memorial service, they checked with the funeral home and discovered there was a wake on Thursday, besides the memorial on Friday. They called me with this information and, thanks to their diligence, the flowers were delivered in time for the Thursday wake, and then moved by the funeral home to another location for the Friday memorial. I certainly appreciated this excellent service on Bell's part. Additionally, although the arrangement I ordered was neither the largest nor the most expensive on display at the services, the family selected it as the one they took home after the Friday memorial service. My elderly parents sent me an arrangement from Bell Flowers. Because I was not home, the delivery person left it in the shade in our back yard. The hang tag on the front door apparently blew off, so I did not know about the delivery for many hours until I happened to notice the hang tag in our driveway. By that time the flowers had wilted. Although, perhaps the flowers should not have been left outside, Bell Flowers immediately admired their mistake and apologized. Even though I said they did not have to replace the arrangement, they not only replaced the arrangement, but upgraded it to a larger one. The flowers were perfect, beautifully arranged and very fresh. Bell Flowers even made a special trip to deliver it right away. I wanted to get my mom a small gardenia bouquet for her vow renewal and this place hit a homerun! 1) I didn't realize gardenias were so expensive and they worked with me to make this gardenia bouquet beautiful and a bit more affordable. 2) The two weeks before I needed it we were very busy and Andrea worked with me over email so I didn't have to make a special trip. She sent me a visual estimate so I would know what to expect. A huge help! 3) Most of all, Chad, saved the day. I had read the hours wrong for Saturday pick up and we were having my son's first birthday that morning. These guys are absolutely amazing! Needed a last minute gift and I couldn't find anyone close-by who did same day deliveries. REAL same day deliveries. I noticed that for an extra $10 I could have my package delivered by midday. It had passed the same-day cutoff time, but if the flowers weren't delivered same day, I'd be in for a world of hurt. So I called them at around 9 am. They managed to take my order, prepare it and had it delivered by 10:30 am! The receptionist (I'm sorry I didn't catch her name) was extremely friendly. I was speaking to an actual person and not a robot just going through the motions. She held a conversation with me, we even shared a few laughs. Absolutely exceptional service! I had planned to go into their store to personally select the bouquet I had in mind. However, when Google Maps said "there is no parking in the area for this establishment". I decided to backup and punt. I called the store the day before delivery and spoke with an EXTREMELY ATTENTIVE GENTLEMAN named Chad. I explained my situation to him, and described what the recipients likes/dislikes were and set a price limit. The flowers were awaiting us at the restaurant, with the recipient pleasantly surprised. The bouquet set table side and gave off a very nice aroma during our meal. Also, I was told 2 days later, "my flowers still smell wonderful & make me happy". As a military family I've been coordinating floral gifts and memorials "long-distance" for literally decades. Really went above and beyond. I was ordering flowers for a funeral online, and was ordering remotely since I'm not from the area. I mistakenly overlooked the information about a viewing that was to occur the day prior to the funeral, and was just planning to have the flowers sent to the funeral service. Chad researched the funeral information on his own accord and reached out to me personally to let me know that he had found information on a viewing, and asked if I'd like the flowers to be sent a day earlier in time for the viewing. Love this florist!! I wanted to send some flowers to my daughter in Minnesota last week. I called Bell Flowers at 11 a.m. and Rose Mary, who was fabulously helpful, took my order and said she'd do her best to get the flowers delivered the same day (even though they were being delivered a thousand miles away). It was amazing! Within 2 hours, my daughter called and said she had just received the most beautiful bouquet. My husband and I placed our first-time order with Bell flowers recently. We ordered a poinsettia plant to be delivered to a very dear relative in Silver Spring. As we live in Ohio, we will never see the plant. The following day, the relative called to thank us for the beautiful plant. Went to an event sponsored by the Asbury Performing Arts Theatre which was a celebration of women for a Valentine's Day charitable event. First, let me say that the venue smelled so beautiful with the aroma of flowers in the air. I received one beautiful long-stemmed rose with a Bell Flowers flag on it when I arrived, and they had the most gorgeous arrangement that was going to be given away to a lucky guests.
