The luggage had a store sticker that said "3 piece set", which made me excited to purchase. I got the luggage home to find that there was nothing else inside the "set". I returned with luggage piece on Sunday May 29th to be told that there was nothing that could be done. Aside from individually purchasing the remaining pieces or a refund. The reason I was given was "the higher ups have us do it that way". I took my refund and purchased luggage and the other products I was going to purchase elsewhere. She said that it was fine and ran her finger around the side and I asked her again to check it to make sure that it was ok and she said again that it was fine. When we got home I checked my butter dish and it was chipped on the side so I called burkes and told the the incident and she told me ok and then hung up on me. So like a week or 2 later I went back and I saw the same butter dish on the shelf not even on the clearance side and it was exactly were I saw it I love this store but if something is broken like that then you should put it in the clearance side. But other then that this store is amazing they have anything you are looking for and have a lot of clothes you can chose from any style so I do recommend this store.

I just had the most wonderful experience with James Avery…read more Born and raised in Texas, I now live in San Francisco, Ca and work as a Certified Child Life Specialist at one of the local hospitals (we provide developmentally appropriate preparation and support for pediatric patients). One of our oncology patients finishes her last round of chemo next week, and as a celebration of the end of her treatment, our department, as well as her entire medical team at the hospital, is going to throw her a party. We were trying to think of a great gift to get her, a 16 year old girl, and when the idea of a charm bracelet was mentioned, I immediately thought of James Avery! We scoured the internet for various charms bracelets and charms, and no where else compared to James Avery in terms of selection AND price. For starters, James Avery was the only affordable place we could find whose selection was 100% sterling silver (which is crucial since our patient has an allergy to nickel). The charms were by far the most cost efficient, and not gaudy in the slightest (this is a California teen after-all). After we placed the order, I realized I did not note for the charms to be attached to the bracelet prior to shipping. We had paid for 2 day shipping in order to get the bracelet to CA before her party on Monday morning, and when I called to ask about attaching the charms, I was told that attaching the charms would take 3 business days, and that the bracelet would not be delivered until Monday during the day if we chose not to attach the charms-- either way, too late to present to our patient at her party. I was immediately connected to the manager, Casey (spelling ?). Casey was AMAZING! Not only did she expedite the order and get the charms put on immediately, she changed our shipping to overnight shipping, free of cost to us. My heart is so warmed by Casey and her generosity, and by this company. I cannot wait to see our patient's face when she opens up her charm bracelet! We came to see the small museum exhibit about the craftsman and his art form more than the store…read moreside. It's not very large, but you can get a nice idea of how jewelry was made, the forms, the designs, and the process as well. You can watch a few videos and sit in his old art desk, too. The other side has a lot of jewelry, which seems well-priced for what it is. I didn't get anything, but it's also nice to window shop sometimes. Parking is in a smaller lot, so it can fill up.
