I arrived on Wednesday morning and was given a one person tour from Mo. We took the freight elevator to the 3rd floor and entered a large space that was currently showcasing 2 exhibits. The other exhibit was a group show of former winners of the Charlotte Street Foundation Award. A wide range of different media showcasing local art of the past 20 years in Kansas City. Upon exiting on the 1st floor, there was also a small exhibit of ceramic art from Shalene Valenzuela. There are a lot of wheels and tables available to throw or handbuild, and the glazing/firing schedule seems to be fairly quick for the amount of pieces that come through. I love the new class format and the redesigned website and intensives, as well. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful.
