The Evergreen campus itself is small but also quite beautiful in the varying seasons. The admissions building is a beautiful Victorian style home surrounded by a big quad and varying buildings. The grounds seem to be well maintained. The athletic center with the pool (the FAC) is also kept up well. The biggest complaint I have as a commuter and a visitor is the parking. There is basically no on-campus parking. The visitor lot is expensive and small -- often times it is reserved for different athletic and academic events on campus. You can try nearby side streets but there are times when nobody is allowed to park there, which tend to coincide with the end of undergrad classes and the beginning of grad classes. There are shuttles to locations like the FAC and the cathedral of Mary, Our Queen, but the shuttle is slow and unreliable. The graduate campuses at Timonium and Columbia have huge parking lots with enough room for everyone. If you want to visit, invest in an Uber or be willing to circle around for a while to park. Or you can pay for the Jenkins visitor lot. Your choice!

I dropped hundreds of dollars to take a test necessary for my career at a company that essentially has a monopoly stranglehold on the industry, so I can understand that they wouldn't care to have good customer service. However, we can at least exercise a modicum of choice in not going to this particular branch. I'm a good test-taker and don't get ruffled easily, but one can feel pity toward the great majority of the population who get nervous during tests and have the misfortune of being met by disgustingly ill-mannered staff for something that can make or break career advancement. For shame.

They were not electronic noise-cancelling headphones but did a good job of blocking out noise. There are partitions on each side of the desk, offering good privacy so that one is not bothered by movements to either side of the desk. The size of the monitor is around 22" and has good resolution. The chair is fairly comfortable with basic height and tilt adjustment. The temperature inside was a bit on the cooler side so dressing in layers is recommended. The staff were very professional and courteous, and provided detailed instructions regarding check-in, key to the locker, code for the restroom, and taking breaks. For my specific test, plenty of scratch paper was offered, along with two sharpened No. 2 pencils. The only downside is that the restroom is located down the hall about 50 yards away. I only had a 10-minute break and had to sprint all the way from and to the test center, plus the time needed to get a drink from my water bottle from the locker and the time took to check back in, there was very little time left when I was back at the desk (my test would be forfeited if I was not back within 10 minutes). Highly recommend this test center and would come back again.

I spoke to the Dean of Students about shuttles; while they added weekday options, there is only one shuttle on weekends. Since it serves all off-campus housing, it is constantly packed, leaving many students stranded-made worse by drivers taking breaks that leave us waiting 2 hours to get back to our rooms. The hotel Wi-Fi is so bad students can barely do work. When I raised this and the shuttles in our group chat, our RA (IB) was unhelpful. While other students agreed, he continuously gives me and my roommate a weird stank look. The Dean said housing would address it, but nothing changed. Plus, despite being told we could take cafeteria food to go, staff stopped me twice. I'm frustrated and sick of this school. This is a horrible HBCU, and no one should come here.

The principal and the staff are prejudice against the minority. I read a few reviews and didn't believe it myself until my children became one of their victims. I disregarded the negative reviews and registered my children there due to the pandemic. Six weeks toward the end of the school year, they start attacking your family and your kid by find every little reason to expel my child. For example, they claimed my didn't follow a simple instruction to move his chair closer toward the working group fast enough or yelling at another kid for blocking the way during the staff-managed team racing, etc. They consistently attack my kid and harassing me by calling me to come to pick up my kid for every minor incident. Because they know after you pass a certain timeline, i.e., mid February, you are still liable to pay the entire school year base on their handbook refund policy. So, in other words, they rob you by trying to expel your children after you pass the refund timeline. The school allows children to retake any exams multiple times to bring the student's average grade up. Thus, the high average grade from the school is hype-up and not realistic. DO NOT BE A VICTIM LIKE MY FAMILY AND I, STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS CATHOLIC SCHOOL. THEY STAFF ARE TERRIBLE AND INCOMPETENCE.

I witnessed a teacher, Kelwan Matthews, leave a child not strapped into a bouncy chair and the child fell out. That same teacher also left a child unattended in a highchair on a countertop. My daughter has been left in loose unbuttoned clothing during nap time which is against safe sleep practices. There have been 2 separate COVID outbreaks in the infant room in 2 months because the staff disregards the director's authority by allowing parents to enter the infant room classroom whenever the teachers feel like it. The staff has tampered with my daughter's milk by intentionally taking it out of the refrigerator for an undisclosed amount of time. The director, Tyshera Wilhite, admitted to serving my child expired milk because she did not read the label. Water and food have been withheld from my daughter, according to the teacher's notes my daughter has only been offered water 9 times in 25 days. Photos of my child have been withheld for weeks after the staff took them without explanation. I've received photos of children that are not even mine. Kelwan Matthews has been emboldened to bully me during drop-off. She slammed doors, menacingly stared at me, and intentionally tampered with my daughter's supplies. My concerns have been unaddressed by the director, district manager, licensing, and the Learning Group Brand. I've been framed as a "problem parent" while the director has tried to gaslight me into believing I didn't witness any of this. The two senior teachers, Ms. Muriel and Ms. Margaret are saving graces of this location. God help any child who's not under their care. Parents BEWARE!
