Paige is a qualified BHS experienced riding instructor and is more than happy to help in riding lessons or in general. I couldn't recommend a better yard then Monty's their so welcoming they are always about to help the girls down at Monty's are very friendly. The horses at Monty's Equestrian Centre are well trained & looked after also are suitable to any ages & levels. Monty's also have other animals such as Goats, pigs, peacocks, ducks, etc.

They are separated from each other and have separate arena's to ride in. You can also take your horse around the fields where they have ditch's, mounds and jumps set up. I took riding lessons here when i was younger and loved riding here and helping out with the care of the horses. The lessons are an hour long and are held in the inside arena when cold and wet and the outside ithe summer time.

The instructor's are friendly and helpful and the lessons are great, letting you expieriance riding in indoor and outdoor school's aswell as in a showjumping field and cross country. The horse's are amazing and range from the simplest horse to the cheekiest little pony, there are quick and steady ones, big and small, they are all fantastic and cover a wide range of abilities! If you want to go to a friendly, helpful riding school here is definatly the place. I love it!

I had a friend whose daughter helped out in the stables but left as she felt she was not treated fairly. My wife was interested in learning to ride horses but had heard that she would have to ride with children and not adults in the group work. We had also heard from a couple of other riders who felt that they had not really gained much from going there and were very dissapointed. I know I would not recommend the place, I did not find the owner friendly, helpful and very good with adults as another reviewer has stated. I think it is important to write a review as everyone had different experiences, clearly ours was not so good and I have to agree with Scarllett...ok for kids possibly but certainly not group work for adults or good communication unless you want an impatient owner or prickly manager.

whiteleaf is an excellent riding stables for all abilities. i ride there and so does my daughters…read moreand the service is great. they are so different to a normal stables and have such a varied amount of activities you can do with horses/ponies. my daughter goes to the after school pony club, which is very affordable and she learns loads from it. there prices are very afforadable and the flexiblility of lessons isa great. riding for adults is great, with a nice selection of horses to use i recommend whiteleaf and will continue to ride there and soon im gonna start one of there courses there

The Alpcas are all so cute and when I visited in August there was baby Alpacas. The Alpacas fur feels so soft. I highly recommend anyone to do this as its a chilled relaxed lovely experience.
