Dinner was good but the worst mushy egg roll I have ever had. Cannot find the vegetables as they seem to be all smooched up in a paste. Service is fast and efficient. There is one large room with the service counter, 6 old tables and chairs ,a refrigerator and supplies all within eye sight. A good cleaning is in order. I contacted them after I became sick bc they sent spoiled food which I didn't realize was until I ate some bc it was covered in sauce which was not part of the menu item at all . An appetizer was also spoiled . the food that wasn't was disgusting and not consistent with the menu. I was concerned for other customers and that there was something wrong in the kitchen . As I know sometimes mistakes unfortunately happen. The manager was incredibly rude . Talked over me . Was not concerned. Turned it to a screaming match . I was stunned and hung up. Fellow Yelpers, I promise I don't write 1 star reviews unless I truly believe I can help spare some innocent soul from the disappointment I am currently feeling. With full disclosure, I have ordered from here several times and I've dealt with their numerous mistakes and I've always let it slide and I've come to just accept it at this point, but tonight was a completely different story. I called to place my to go order which consisted of honey wings with shrimp fried rice (today is my cheat day so please try not to judge)and my boyfriend ordered the lemon chicken (a lightly breaded chicken breast then glazed in chef's specialty prepared fresh lemon sauce). I was told it would be ready in 10 mins (FYI, if you go against your better judgement and you actually order from here, please know that your food is never ready at the time they tell you). In less than a minute, they called me back and said they were out of wings (I should have canceled the entire order since the honey wings were the only real reason why we chose to order from here), I told them I would take the shrimp egg foo young instead, the man on the other line repeated my order "shrimp egg foo young and lemon chicken?". I confirmed the new order and went to go pick up my order 20 mins later. When I got there and went to the counter there was one lonely little to go bag packed up waiting for me to take it home. The clerk asked me if he could help me and I said I was "there to pick up my order; shrimp egg foo young and lemon chicken". He picked up the ticket attached to the only order up there and became very confused. After repeating my order 3 times he pointed to the phone number at the top of the ticket and asked, "is that you?". Yes, it was. He said, "you order lemon chicken and honey wings with shrimp fried rice". "Originally, yes, I did, but I was told y'all were out of wings. Are there wings in there?" "Yes! This is lemon chicken and honey wings with shrimp fried rice." My hopes were immediately raised and my mouth began to water when I thought about getting my original order (I'm sorry y'all, but I've been craving these dang wings all week and I don't even normally like wings!!). Another man came from the back and began rapidly speaking in Chinese. The clerk said, "Ma'am, I was just told we are out of wings." "Yeah, that is literally what I just told you.." "So you just want lemon chicken and shrimp fried rice?" "No. That is why I ordered shrimp egg foo young." "Oh, I will have to make that now." I'm annoyed and hangry at this point, he tap taps on the cash register and says, "lemon chicken, shrimp egg foo young and shrimp fried rice...". "No shrimp fried rice,thanks...". I was curt at this point since my disappointment over being let down by these wings twice within a half an hour. After waiting another 23 mins I finally got my completed order. We return home to unwrap our package of chicken and shrimp flavored sodium to find out that the lemon chicken is simply sweet and sour chicken with a lemon sauce!!! It's nothing close to being a chicken breast and it most certainly is NOT "lightly breaded" (obviously, I'm not going for a healthy meal but I hope y'all get my point)! Here's another fun fact, the sweet and sour chicken is $5 and some change and the lemon chicken is over $9 and the ONLY difference is the kind of sauce you get on the side. If y'all have enough respect of your time to read this review then please respect your taste buds and wallet enough to go less than half a mile away to Saigon Garden instead, I certainly wish I had tonight! read more
