We recently moved into the neighborhood and therefore were eager to try the local restaurants in the area... first up - Bei Uns! We didn't find the atmosphere or service to be anything special, but also not bad. I had a glass of red wine and the Rucola pizza, and my partner had the Weizen beer and a Beef pasta with mushrooms which was on the daily specials list. We also had bruschetta as an appetizer.
I really liked my pizza and wine, and liked the option of ordering a glass of the "open wine"! Unfortunately the beef pasta was nothing special. The reason for the 3 star review is how long the food itself took... we sat down at 7pm and didn't have our meals until 9pm! I'm ok with sometimes it taking a bit longer but we were starting to wonder if we were being forgotten about as they didn't check in or give us any updates. Overall, we really wanted to like Bei Uns but probably won't be returning. read more
