Your truffle spaghetti is out of this world yummy, with huge chunks of shaved truffle, Your spicy tomato sauce is also one of my favorites. Also, your panzerotti in cream sauce. Your gambas (giant shrimp prawns) appetizer is delicious as well as your mushroom beef carpaccio and the prices are more than reasonable. Then they were extremely rude and told us to go for a walk (in icy conditions in December!!!). We were told maybe we would have more luck later. Don't even try to make a reservation, it does not help. They also don't seem to appreciate your business at all. Gorgonzola for last course took 20 minutes to arrive, but I'm sure that's because the chef wanted it to be at the right temperature... This is a small and cozy place, it may seat up to 40 people. Make sure to make a reservation even on weekdays, not to be disappointed. They have a general menu which is complemented by seasonal dishes which are not on the menu. These are changed every 2 - 3 days. Front of house Franco makes you feel comfortable and explains all the dishes which are not on the menu. The wine recommendations are always good and reasonably priced. Of course you can always go for Tignanello or Sassiscaia. Simple dishes like Spaghetti arrabiata are cooked to perfection. The pasta al dente and the sauce spicy but not overwhelming. The seafood is always very fresh like the monkfish with sage and pine nuts. If you crave for a piece of meat, go for the simply grilled filet of beef. This place can be pricey if you go for the fish and meat but still good value for money.
