I wouldn't recommend them to anyone!!! My white cabinetry started yellowing within months after…read moreinstallation. I brought this to the attention of the owner Jimmy (a real character), and he blamed it on my cleaning products(WATER)! After a few trips to his office about this over months of wasted time he had found out it was a finish issue. I was told by him there's several other of their jobs that this happened to also. He claimed that he would resolve this issue by sanding, staining and refinishing them IN MY HOUSE??? Seriously? Since my last visit(a year ago) I have learned he had "attempted" to fix one of the other mistakes and failed miserably. The aforementioned customer was forced to accept a subpar finish they didn't originally choose and then sign a disclaimer that Kabinet Koncepts was no longer responsible for said cabinets after that. My white cabinetry is completely yellow at this point and an absolute eyesore. If I had to do it again I would have went to Dream Kitchen, ManorHouse or Patete like my wife wanted to. Good luck and do your research first...

I had them replace my laminate counter-tops with granite & had a good experience. I only had two…read moreestimates as I was moving from out-of-town, so I was limited in shopping, but I have no regrets. The owner is point of contact for everything, so there not multiple people to deal with & waiting for someone on their day off. The price is based on the granite you select - different patterns are different prices per square foot. Also, there's a cost to make a cut for a sink & for fancier edging. I happened to select a pricey granite. I was directed to go to a warehouse along RT8 in Shaler Township where they had thousands of slabs. I picked the one I wanted. Luckily, one slab was enough for my job. The work was done in two phases, based on my moving in. While I was here for a week, the old counter tops were removed. After I settled-in, the new ones were installed. Top Tier did all the work, including the plumbing hook-up. I got a new sink & kitchen faucet as part of the change as it seemed foolish to keep the same old faucet. There have not been any issues.

We would have cancelled the order or Top Tier would have had to rework. Most other granite companies advise where the seams are up front. Very disappointed. Large investment to have this happen. I can't say enough positive things about Pittsburgh Doors & Closets. We recently had thirteen doors…read morein our townhome replaced as well as the two master bedroom closets fully customized, and the process was so much easier than I originally envisioned. Scott (the owner) was super professional and an excellent communicator from start to finish. He set realistic expectations in terms of timing, which resulted in both orders being ready when expected and installations not being delayed at the last second. I understand that unforeseen things can come up, however I really appreciated his transparency up front. I also want to acknowledge his attention to detail. We wanted a special color of grey wood in the closets to match our floors, and Scott made an extra trip out to our home with samples for us to see in person before placing the order. We had our order of doors installed on a Thursday and the closets done about two weeks later. Scott and his colleague Jim did the door installation, and Jim largely took the lead on the closets. Both days ran from about 8:00 am-2:00 pm, and all areas of the house where they worked were left super clean when they were done. Our dogs also loved them, which was a huge plus! One of the doors had a small spot where some paint came off after the initial installation, and Scott immediately got back to me when I asked about it and had it fixed within two days. I also want to draw attention to the work Jim did on the closets. He made sure to hang my upper shelves a little lower to enable me to reach (I'm only 5'0") and configured a special shelf with extra space to accommodate a tall designer bag I wanted to store there. We're both loving the closets that hold so much more now and having doors that actually work properly. One word about pricing, since it's so hard to find specifics online. We paid around $7800 for thirteen doors (several were French doors and four were solid core) and around $3000 for two built-in wooden closet customizations. I believe getting more doors is a better deal, and the closet customizations definitely cost less because we'd ordered doors. Given the ease and quality of workmanship I think it's an excellent deal. Your home/needs will differ so keep that in mind, but if you're in the market for new doors or closets this is an investment worth making. I whole heartedly recommend Pittsburgh Doors & Closets for the job and will tell anyone I hear of who needs doors to give them a call.

Before Christmas, I contacted Pittsburgh Doors and Closets to get a free estimate to replace all of…read morethe bifold doors for several closets in my house. In total, I would have ordered 18 bifold doors, which this business counts as 36 doors, because for each door, two doors are hinged together. A representative of this company traveled to my house to measure my closets. A couple of weeks later, this business asked me to visit their showroom in person to receive the written estimate. (They do not email an estimate.) For several minutes, they showed me a video that explained how the doors are digitally measured, cut by robots, and painted. According to the business's website and brochure, "One Day Doors & Closets [they are an authorized dealer of these doors] is typically 30-50% less than home improvement stores, contractors, and handymen." The estimate for my bifold closet doors, Sherwin-Williams paint, and installation was about $8,000! The interior doors that they displayed in the showroom appeared to be a good quality, and they offer many traditional and modern styles for the doors and knobs. However, I think that I will wait to order any doors from this business, and in the future, I will focus on replacing only the doors that have very custom widths. I know that I did not purchase these doors yet, but I wanted to share the pricing with you, because the pricing is very hard to find online, and I do not want you to waste your time on an estimate if you want to limit your budget. By the way, this business also sells closets (e.g., walk-in, reach-in, laundry, pantry, garage, office, and entertainment).

Regis and his team at Master Remodelers did two extensive projects for us. When I first contacted…read morethem, I was unprepared for their requirement of payment for a project proposal. Their comprehensive in-house design and build approach was unlike that of other contractors, and their cooperative communication was instrumental in developing and meeting our expectations. They made understanding us and our house equal priorities. They educated us about the condition of the house, brought in an engineer, and designed projects around improving and reinforcing the house. They found and corrected issues created by the house's original builder. They work well coordinating their work with other contractors. With one exception, there were no call-backs. A minor installation error discovered years later was cheerfully and promptly fixed as a warranty item, a reflection on their commitment to their clients. When it came time to sell the house, the quality of their work was a strong draw for the buyers. It drew a crowd. They exemplify how a great team can accomplish great results!

They originally reached out to me asking to take it down. When I refused to do so because I believe that my review reflects my family's experience, the messages kept on coming. At first, she said I shouldn't leave a bad review because I have never dealt with a death in my family (not true & not sure how that is relevant). Then she accused me of writing my review to punish the company and for no other reason. My response was: "Let's be VERY clear here. I'm not "punishing your company". I'm leaving a review of our experience on a site that is meant to leave reviews of people's experiences with different companies. If all owners tried to bully patrons into only leaving good reviews on Yelp... well there would no longer be a Yelp. I'm leaving honest feedback on how it felt to deal with your company. I'm sorry that you don't agree with our assessment, but it's truly how it felt.
