We even downloaded several of learning apps they use in class for home. They break them into small groups and they take turns rotating to various classes with special teachers there. In their main class they have main teacher and usually two other Aids . They do art projects and have stations for free play. They have different themes each week and show and tell. They have nutritious meals as well. Most of teachers and staff truly care about children and show that in their enthusiasm. They seem to have a lot of patience for kids and various issues that they may struggle. They really try and work with them. My daughter has developed many close bonds with her teachers and friends there. I feel her social and language skills have improved there. My daughter looks forward to going to school every day!

Instead of working collaboratively and inclusively with a child who was actively receiving services and making developmental progress, it felt like the daycare ultimately chose not to accommodate his needs. Our son transitioned to PDC from another school that was not as much of a fit for him. In the 3 years he has been with PDC he has truly blossomed and matured into a very capable and independent teenager. The school operates in a very hands on and interactive way. The children have many opportunities throughout the day to move, exercise and express themselves whether it's through yoga, martial arts, hikes, field trips or gymnastic classes. Education-wise, they have a wonderful staff that truly cares and supports not only the children but their families as well. PDC very much individualizes their curriculum for each child and makes adjustments based on the children's needs and interests. They also very much include attention to life skills such as cooking, cleaning, public speaking and social skills. PDC is a very empowering place for neuro-divergent children. Parents, read this before you consider Brain Balance…read more My experience with Brain Balance specifically with Frank Amuto,was stressful, dehumanizing, and completely unacceptable. I chose to cancel after realizing the program is not covered by insurance and is not recognized as evidence-based care by insurers or standard clinical pathways. That was not made clear upfront, and it should have been before any financial commitment. What followed was worse. After cancelling, I was given information about my financing and the bank that did not match what the bank later confirmed directly. There was constant back and forth, conflicting information, and I was being pressured about money I did not owe. At one point, I was told that if I did not pay additional money, I would not receive my financing back. Let that sink in. Frank Amato's behavior escalated the situation. His communication was rude, dismissive, and condescending. He crossed a personal line by questioning my judgment as a parent, including making comments about why I chose to have a child with my child's father. That is completely inappropriate and unacceptable. Nothing was resolved until I escalated and brought the bank directly into the conversation to force transparency. Only then did the information finally align, the refund get processed, and the loan get closed. This entire experience created real fear around my finances and my credit -- something no parent should have to deal with, especially while caring for a child with ADHD. For clarity, my child is now doing well and receiving therapy that is evidence-based and covered by insurance. Be extremely careful. Verify everything directly with your lender. Get everything in writing. Do not rely on verbal assurances.
