The ladies at the counter are fantastic. A washing machine has been out of order for a couple of years. The washing spin cycle doesn't go on long enough. I could ring water out of my clothes. Just means you spend more on drying. If you can, take your drying home to dry. It will save you lots of money. Even after all this, this is the only game in town for a fairly clean, central place to wash your clothes.

They did a good job in getting my pants cleaned. They not only do hotel businesses but also walk-in customers drop off. Service was quick. Drop off and same day pickup depending on time or pick up next day. I like how they take down customer information on the computer system. No need to bring back a piece of paper to claim drycleaning items.

I called Monday afternoon and was told between 5:30 pm and 6 pm. My youngest daughter went to pick it up at 5:45 pm and the dress wasn't there. She was told it was on a truck but they didn't know when it would arrive. Finally at 6:20 pm the truck arrived and she got the dress. When she got home with it the stain was still on it. Exactly how it was when I dropped it off. They also say same day service on their websites but that only applies to this location as we found out when we went to a closer location as was told they didn't have one day service as advertised. I would never go back to any of their locations.

However, the washing machine in my building isn't big enough to wash a whole comforter, so I was forced to take it to a Laundromat. They've got big washers, which is nice for a large load. Even if I wasn't washing my quilt I could probably fit a lot of dirty clothes in that thing. Royal Laundry has a somewhat 70's style feel to it. They've got green and orange chairs that aren't very comfy but are super cute! It's not a terrible place to spend some time while waiting for a couple of loads to finish up. It's big, they've got a lot of machines, and you can stuff a whole lot of clothes in each load.
